  • It is mind blowing to me that someone could have the same ideas on religion as I do.

Since I'm so young, no one takes what I have to say on this particular topic. It is absolutely astounding to me that I'm not alone in how I think.

  • in your argument with ur mom where you say "religious people are more likely to be religious the less they know about religion and the stupider you are, as you become older, learn more about religion, the less likely you are to be religious," are you saying that applies to all religions or just Christianity?

  • Hey don't take this the wrong way, you really have a lot of knowledge and I learn a lot from you...But I think your videos aren't structured good enough. Like your talkin about one thing then suddenly switch over to something else, goin left right up and down, ya everywhere haha. Adhd maybe haha, I pulled ya leg a bit it aint that bad just wanted 2 let you know. You're one of my fav youtubers

  • Why did you use strawman fallacy on atheist? Claiming that we think god only as 3 dimensiol guy on the cloud.

To me you didn't say anything new, and I have considered those things you have said before. Sure there is possibility that there might be a god/creator.

But before beleaving into it I need proofs for it. Burden of proofs is on people who gives claims.

Didn't expect you to be pantheist :D.

  • @Tespri

Study Bible prophecies.... specifically, the twin books of Daniel and Revelation. confirm their prophecies with their developments in history. In particular, look at Daniel's metal image and the 4 Beasts and how they relate to World History.

Prophecy is History in advance; history is prophecy fulfilled.

The Bible's prophecies are the proofs of God's existence.

Just put forth the effort to discover this.

  • @marcdaddy33

Do same to every other prophecy ever made and you will at least make few of them hit. Even I can give 100 prophecy and make at least 1-2 hit to the right spot.

I have studied prophecies more than enough to know they are full of crap.

Also did you ever wonder how there can be free will if future can be seen? Ability to give prophecy would just destroy concept of free will

  • @Tespri

Yes let's dismiss automatically without taking the time to discover what is being said is true or not. You ask for proof for the existence of God, and respond in kind with respect to what is proof of God's existence, and rather than examine the evidence you rationalize. No doubt if I were to respond in kind with respect to YOUR "evidences" for the non-existence of God you would rightly conclude that I was afraid of your "evidence"

    STUDY Daniel 2:20-44 and Daniel 7:1-8, 15-28

  • Part 2

The the various metals that compose the man in the dream of Daniel 2 corresponds with the 4 Beasts of Daniel 7... and both prophecies correspond with what we KNOW in History.

As for free will? While that may, on the SURFACE, seem like a great argument against God (much the same as the "problem of evil"), further thinking on the matter (and biblical study) shows that the concept is far from being proof that God doesn't exist. For example, we can, at times, tell what will happen

  • @marcdaddy33

You didn't even counter problem of evil, and neither problem of free will. You just said that you can do that without even saying how you can do that.

  • @marcdaddy33

Did you even bother to read my reply?

Also what comes to "evidences" against god... You should know that burden of proof is on the one who claims positive. None of us knew god of the bible before someone told us. Which means that one who tells us that god exists, needs to give solid proofs for god.

/watch?v=Joe2-V5pMG4 This should give prety solid answer to all prophecy claims... Don't forget that other religions have had their prophecies to come "true"

  • @marcdaddy33

What kind of evidences should I accept? Well logical ones, ones that can be trusted in eye of outsider. Think it like court trial. Try giving something else than other religions offer too. If you don't know their "evidences" then try study them bit. I can bet that pretty much every "evidence" you have, is the same they would've for their religion.

  • @Tespri

"I can bet that pretty much every "evidence" you have, is the same they would've for their religion."

    ---

I'll be your Huckleberry. Let's stack up prophecies of whatever other religion you wish vs. the prophecies of the Bible (specifically the prophecies of Daniel chapters 2-9 and comparing them to Revelations 11, 12, 13, 17, and 18). Let then look at how those prophecies stack with the historical record.

Then let us see if ANY of your religious prophecies compare 2 The Bible

  • @ Tespri part 2

You won't however, because like the typical atheist, you guys really don't care about seeking truth. You guys TALK about how you gyys "looked at all the theistic evidences and found them wanting" but really you made NO investigation at all. You ONLY look at the arguments by theists who don't read the Bible. You guys prefer to intimidate theists who BARELY have a conception of their own Biblical beliefs (let alone philosophy/science) via mockery.

  • @ Tespri part 3

So yes Tespri... I will call your bluff. DEMONSTRATE to me how you "investigated" all of religions beliefs and their prophecies and show me how they are the same as the prophecies of the Bible. Additionally, show me how the Biblical prophecies are false.

I'm not even talking about the prophecies about earthquakes, wars, famines in the least days. I'm speaking about Bible's prophecies about the RISE and FALL of nations that weren't in existence when they were written.

  • @marcdaddy33

You didn't get my point. It doesn't mater which religion did get most prophecies correct. Point was that most of them have prophecies and some of them came true. Of course prophecies are vague, even in bible. Most interesting one was in maya (or aztec not sure atm), did prophecie their own demise. Ironically it happened almost exactly when it was bound to happen according their propechy.

All religions use their prophecies, miracles, feelings, personal experience as proof.

  • I contiune to watch this and am amazed by your views on "God". While i agree in many aspects of your video i find myself caught in thought. I have worked hard to search for truth, but sadly it has lead me to chase away friends and potential friends. My views seem to be the catalyst for this issue. How can i overlook veiws like this or am i doomed to the same chain of issues i have had?

  • I agree that the popular view of God is just that, popularized.

And any Christian that has put any time into thinking about God, realizes that he/she is beyond our understanding. There are intelligent religious people out there, just not that many.

  • Sup dude! Yo you left a comment on my channel asking to talk a while back. I really do want to talk- especially about this topic! I sent you a friend request. Please accept it and message me when you have a chance. Love what you do! Keep it up hommie!- Ali

  • So what do you believe in like what religion.

  • @TheSmileymads17

he said he was Christian like me at 1:28

  • yeah! i was laughing, because I think we have about 100 years only(maybe that) compared to eternity. Like I try to be happy by comparing that to my pain on earth. I think it helps me try new things, because I know God gave me this life, so might as well try things, and have fun (obviously still honoring Him through it)

  • then how is one way to do something now, ULTIMATELY the right thing for all of time? Please respond if ya get a chance.

  • I understand what you mean that our moral decisions are in our "best interest" but how do we really know that? How could we possibly know if what we are doing is right by a "God figure". The scriptures of religions has been morphed so much, too. How can we possibly know which one is right? It's like a game of telephone. Over time, especially religions do change. It just seems pointless. If this God could make EVERYTHING and we figure out new stuff everyday,

  • I don't understand how this "God" can automatically know what is right from wrong? In time, we have done so many barbaric things and we spoke in God's name. We were completely fine with the decisions we were making at that time and the human reflection of God changes constantly. So how in the hell can there be ONE right way. I personally do not believe there is such thing as right or wrong. Our norms dictate what is right or wrong. You truly don't know every consequence of your decisions anyhow.

  • It's amazing thinking about how limited our minds are. Like you were saying how we can not fathom the end of the universe and the beginning of time. I can't fathom death. I can't possibly fathom "being conscious of nothing".

Personally I look forward to death. I'm super curious about what will happen after death. Someday we'll all know. Until then, be good people!

  • Sorry for my ramblings I enjoyed this video I hope you make others like this.

  • Organized religion is man made and is so deluded that it no longer "connect" or help us understand the true essense of what "god" really is. There has always been this negative connotation with God and its link to religion. If we take religion out of the picture and try to understand the universe from a scientific point of view and how its correlated to God only then we can truely begin to make progress towards trying to understand such complex ideas.

  • You make very good points in such a short time. But you are right. There are things we cannot comprehend such as God and Time. For anyone to say a creator doesn't exist is just ignorant. Everything in this world has a purpose and there are things as human beings we cannot see such as infrared and ultraviolet, and sounds we are incapable of hearing. We can only see the universe through our perspective as human beings, so just imagine all the wonderous beauty that we are missing out on.

  • i must say, this video is very oversimplified and partisan but i do understand that u had time constraints.

  • This video is perfect.

If everyone understood the nature of God like it is explained in this video, I think nobody would hate on God.The problem comes from widely preached religious texts like the Bible that portray a very poor definition of God that people somehow come to believe.

  • I completely agree with the notion of God as a force of good. I tend to see things more as an exchange of energy which we all contribute to, and in this case, God would be the instigator/arbiter of these exchanges.

  • God is an excuse. god of the gaps. religion is slowing the world. Religion is delusion. Religion is ignorant. God is homophobic. God is omnipotent.

God is a misogynist. God is for the weak. God is a fairy tale. God is your imaginary friend.........God is man.......... The fool says in his heart there is no god. PLEASE call me a fool

  • @PoutyWand

    fool!!!

  • I like when you said tht God is whats best for us... thts good because its true he only wants the best for us

  • My brain won't stop after watching this video!!! Awesome, very thought provoking!

  • everything that is "true" isnt good. How do we define "good"?

  • @Xone7 I know, I got a little sloppy - I know I've defined "good" somewhere (don't know which video) - what I mean to say is that the ethical choice is usually also the "good" choice. anyways - I'll revisit that.

  • @AmanJohnX I love how you always make us think. I appreaciate the dialouge and adore your channel(s).

  • Great vid man. I feel like we are somehow all connected to this "god", whatever it is. Almost like a horcrux inside us all.

  • im so glad i've discovered a youtuber like u

  • >Christianity is NOT a religion, Jesus even spoke against religion. A common misconception.

    >Many Atheists reject many versions/interpretaions of GOD and faith, I don't think one person can speak for all Atheists.

  • u shud make a vid about ur own personal journey about how u obtained knowledge about religion.

  • we moslims believe that god is over the seventh samawat so that means 7 th demension so u rite we cant see him cause there is 6 demensions between him and us but u understand man

  • If I understood correctly you say that religion is just a way for intellectual people to explain God to rest of the people. I think that religion is there way earlier. Even if you go through all those facts that you did in this video you must believe that that all is God (especially with a capitol G when it refers to the christian God)

  • What if the universe is like a diamond ring that something owns in it's universe? So that if the "ring" to that thing was broken, everything will end. Just something random I thought. Probably doesn't make any sense, but it's a mind fuck for me at least. Like, what if this universe is nothing for another much bigger universe. That would be so cool, but so scary at the same time. :P

  • <3 Michio Kaku

  • i dont think you should get rid of this i think you should have an upload about quantim phyics because that pretty much debunks the bibles like everything else that is sceince

  • wheres part 2???????????

  • also it seems what you are saying is god then is actually quantim phyics and that the hyposis of god is 100% wrong and that quantim phyics is what people think god is and we should get rid of the religious books i say get rid of the religious books because they start wars

  • i am athiest because i read the bible and also since there isnt a defintion to god i decided it cant exist and atheists dont preject god in that way a lot of atheists are actually atheist because they read the bible and declared it BS now some athiests go to far and say you cant have the word god in school but thats not true you just cant have religion taught as a manditory class and there are people who are agnostic who just say there could be a god but no book talks about it/him/her

  • @kazooga1234 So you become Atheist if you've read the Bible and find it to be BS? Why didn't you read any other religious texts? To say that Atheism links with Christianity in that way is quite bizarre. People treat the Bible like it is the only religious book, but the truth is that if people broadened their view and took in the ideas provided by other religions, you may come to find that the "truth" has always been here, since the beginning of time. You just need to find out where to look.

  • @000summer999 yes and science disproves the bible and i am not the only one to become atheist or agnostic because it actually by reading the bible it made me less of an agnostic and once god couldnt be defined i became an atheist and have been for some time and i have read others i even have found out stuff about the satan and i dont like how the bible changed the satan into something evil because he never was he always did gods bidden for him and

  • @000summer999 (continue) also the bible now doesnt even talk about gods wife i bet you didnt even know he had a wife since people took her out of the bible as they were changing it and as for how many times people changed the bible is beyond me and that is also why some countrys are losing religion or at least the text of religion and canada is one of them

  • @kazooga1234 Sorry, I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. Alright, so you found the Bible to be a collective work of other authors, namely priests and monks, changed over time. And this is why you became Atheist? I was merely asking if you've looked into other religions, specifically Abrahamic religions. If you became less of an Agnostic, why are you talking about God and Satan? Through what exactly have you obtained this knowledge of God having a wife or Satan being "Good"?

  • @kazooga1234 (continued) If you believe in anything relating to God or the Creator or Satan, you're not Atheist. If you don't believe, then why would you refer to these things in your comment? God cannot have a wife. OR children, or any form of ties that correlates with the needs of human beings. If that's the case, then He's not God. These things that humans require are our weakness, and a creator so grand to have been able to produce the amazing universe cannot possibly have these weaknesses.

  • @000summer999 i dont believe in god i know its impossible for there to be a god and the extermely messed up thing is 3 months after i entirely give up on religion i found out i am a decant of moses god does have a wife and it shows how much research you have done on the bible i used to be spirtual and all about different religions thats why i also know the quarn is the 3rd book of the series its first the tora then its the bible then quarn you are the one that needs to do research

  • @kazooga1234 I never said you needed to research, I'm sure you have plenty of knowledge and your decisions have been motivated by this knowledge. I AM researching, me questioning you is part of my research, gathering information from several people of various faiths. I'm not Christian, I have read the Bible, I also know the Quran is the third book. Actually, I'm Muslim. Haven't read the Torah yet.

I never asked you how much you knew, just asked where you were getting your knowledge from.

  • @000summer999 if i had to choose a religious book it would be the quran but for the religious symbol i choose the star of david i respect my jewish side to much to give up the symbol i dont like the tora its the worst one of the books thats the one that states god hates gays (if i am remebering it correctly) i misstook what you were wondering sorry and i mostly used google and i did read the bible and the tora my great grandmother has the tora so i was able to read that
