Film-making is such an art. I love how creative they are!!!!

The actors had to tilt, gel in the glasses that were tilted at the right angle, and string that lifted them from the surfaces - so simple, yet extremely nitpicky! And saving them a lot of money on tilting the room or making a new, tilted room :P I'm impressed!

All water evaporates and returns to the atmosphere as clouds...no matter where it is on the groun, in the ground, or in a movie set...i'm sure you understand how rain works.

It's surprising, really, that no replica or recreated rooms exist anywhere, except in some hotel in England that had parts of the Olympic lounge.

The scene where Rose gets the axe and has to climb down some stairs and sort of swim back to save jack, she gasps when the water is reaching her neck (remember??). According to rumours she wasnt acting then, she gasped cause it was freezing cold =) but of course not nearly as cold as for the real people on titanic.. Tragic!!

@mquiroz90 I dont think in the future movies will get better. This is just proof. Even the director said yes, we used real actors in the sinking scenes. Like as movies get better the CGI effects will continue to make it look faker. Like take for example Aquarmarine. It was very fake looking but yet look back at Splash from 1984 which used all real underwater scenes and not green scenes. At some point technology gets movies looking not beleivable and this movie is just a masterpeice the way it is

Making films is a very long and tideous process. The saying goes, and its so true, HURRY UP AND WAIT. Because thats what always happens. I was in a 16mm short film (30 mins long) and just to shoot that alone, was two 12 hour days on set and thats with not alot of complex shots.

I'm working on a large independent film as well and it's incredible how long it takes to film! On top of that, there are so many delays! So far we've only had 5 days of filming scheduled, and all had to be canceled because it rained!

This is the most detailed movie about the Titanic for when it sank. And what's "Titanic" without DeCaprio in it? Not much. He really helped put together some great stuff on what we should do if all the lifeboats are gone and the ship is sinking. Great work Leo!!!
