I have a question.... I have just recently beat the game, but i have never encountered this area. Where is this place?

@Bobdog1234567890 It's in Great Hollow which is found in Blight Town. It's a tree that has a hidden path that will allow you to go all the way down to find Ash Lake. There's a bonfire in a tunnel in Blight Town, from there you go forward and turn left until you see a big tree. Go up the path then you will see a dead end which is in fact a secret wall. Hit it to go through and keep going until you end up in Great Hollow. Then go all the way down to reach Ash Lake.

such an overpowered sword :/ knid of ruined the game for me at +5 does over 1000 damage backstab and its special kills most bosses in 2 or 3 hits and boss of the game in 5

The sword takes 50 strength to wield and 80 for it to not move like a Brock shit house. When you can wield it it turn yellow or gold its pretty cool. When you perry someone it decapitates the enemy in one it that does 560 damage it's avarge damage is like 248 due to armor I'm trying to upgrade it but I can't get dragon scales so I joins the coconut for the dragon eye but I think I'm using it wrong.

What happens if I offer a dragon scale to the Ancient Dragon? And what is the use of the eye dragon?

@franciscusm Sorry for the late reply. Offering dragon scales makes the flame of the dragon head more powerful and you can also get the dragon torso when you've offered 30. The dragon eye is used online to invade another player who has a dragon scale; kill them to get one.

@moderator026 It can only be removed by dying. Just fall off a cliff near a bonfire if you don't want to risk leaving behind your souls near enemies.

@KEEN69MANGUST You're welcome =) In my third playthrough, the Hydra killed himself too lol. By the way, which "stone man" are you referring to, because I'm a little confused lol. Do you mean a certain blacksmith? If you mean the giant blacksmith who upgrades weapons using boss souls then he is at Anor Londo.

Ok so when i get to blightown i find the tree but there is no passage to ash lake?

@WwwMINECRAFTwwW When you find the tree, go into it until you find a body, on the the left side is a wall that can be hit to reveal a hidden path. Go through and you'll find a chest, behind that chest is another hidden path that can hit. Go through and down the ladder and then you'll see a bonfire. You now have to make your way all the way down to get to Ash Lake.

From there you need to find the Great Hollow tree and go through its hidden path and then go all the way down to find the entrance to Ash Lake. Make sure you take some Purging Stones to remove the curse effect as some enemies can curse you.

@Hallucination01 Bosses are generally one time only. If it's the weapons you're looking for, many of them require you to cut off their tail in order for the weapon to drop. If you missed them then you'll have to wait for your next playthrough. The best thing to do is to check the wiki for information on what item a boss can drop so that you'll know in advance; getting the weapons in further playthroughs will be more harder.

@Hallucination01 You'll have to wait until your next playthrough if you've beaten most of the bosses :( You can do as many playthroughs as you want but they also get harder each time; if it's like Demons Souls then I think the 8th playthrough has the last increase in difficulty and stays the same after that. A handy tip: make sure to kindle as many bonfires (especially filrelink shrine) as you can before starting a new game so that you can carry more Estus Flasks from the beginning.

@Hallucination01 I'm not sure on the exact number but the max level should be over 700. It would take a very huge amount of time to get that high unless glitching is involved which some people are doing but that takes the fun out of the game and trying to find other players online will be difficult around that level.

@Jisumy That place is called Ash Lake. Go to Blight Town and you need to find a ramp (left of the bonfire that's near the water weel) that goes up into the Great Hollow. Go inside the hidden path and go all the way down to reach Ash Lake. Make sure you carry items to remove curse because there are enemies on the way that cause that effect.

@StickyMrfingaz I think Smough's hammer is very strong and it has some scaling. The Demon Greataxe has an "A" scaling but lower base value. I'm not entirely sure on what would be best, the wiki may help out is showing all the stats or maybe check some forums to see which strength weapons people are using.

I read that you can also get this sword by cutting off the Stonedragon's tail from the Land of the Drakes. Is this true? Or are they two different swords... or is this the only way to get it? Lastly, I hope the Master Dragon doesn't hate folks who just want his tail, I don't want your covenant, dragon dude.

@CrimsonGamingChannel Getting 50 strength will take a long time if you're also increasing other stats. I personally probably won't reach that high any time soon because I think the weapon stat scaling in this game is not as effective as it was in Demon's Souls. I have a Uchigatana+10 right now which will be made into a lightning version soon.
