As far as paint goes , I have to say sherwin has done more than any other brand to provide low VOC and in some cases 0-VOC paints. You can't say that about many of the other companies. Paint can be infact 'non toxic' Harmony is a zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint that offers better scrub and mar resistance then any milk based paint you will find.
Duration Home as a low VOC paint is far superior to anything on the market, go buy a gallon of your fave paint and put it against Durations cleanability/coverage and see what happens.

The "Cover The Earth" logo is obviously an old design; SW has been around since 1866 after all. We have a number of green initiatives and products (Duration, low VOC and Harmony, zero VOC) and keep current with environmental standards across the country. We stopped putting lead in paint quite some time ago, and believe it or not, we are not the only company that used lead.

I've been a SW employee for two years now...this is a company that does care about its employees. Throughout this recession, they haven't closed one store or laid off anybody.
