the sound is the huge wood slabs they have as bumpers for the boat.the weight of the steel boat rubbing the wood makes that sound. If it was unsafe i wouldn't ride it 20 times a year
NOO!I too have crossed this ferry MANY times! (At least 3 return trips per year of life)... it was just screeching up against the side of the loading area. I thought it was funny so I video'd!
