  • I can relate to the professor with the name. I so enjoy watchin em make a fool of themselves lmao. Their struggling is my pure entertainment. Thumbs up

  • @AjahDawn, likewise...never have envied nursing flies. Carry on low life.

  • "im about to butcher this name.." LOL story of my life

  • I really enjoyed this video, especially the questions at the end. I wish more people were enlightened about their intercultural competence.

  • @ 7:20 smart man =]

  • I seriously just used to make shit up to mess with people when they asked me questions like this because they were that clueless... I once told someone there was a group that communicated just by twitching their noses and she asked me to teach her a word lmaooo...and I cant staaaaaand the Kwanzaa question. Kwanzaa was created in America. Most people on the continent don't even know wtf Kwanzaa is.

  • thumbs up if ur african

  • Comment removed

  • you forgot to say...you speak good English...wow!lol

  • 0:38-0:44 LMAOO Funniest Part :D

  • that's your house right?

  • OMG yesssssss 5:17 story of my life. I'm Nigerian, I don't know what that means anymore than you do! -___________-

  • OMG that so funny..some American people are like this.. Africa is so rich..seriously... Do you speak African? I mean seriously you didn't know Africa is a continent..Lmao they kill me with that. In africa there are over 1000+ languages...I find it annoying sometimes. Kwanzaa is an African-American holiday.

  • God this is the story of my life! Right down to the tongue clicking part. And you forgot, "How come you dont have Aids" -.- GOD AMERICANS CAN BE SO ANNOYING!!!!!!

  • A Russian-Ethiopian living in America. I think I have said all. This is a story of my life so annoying-.-

  • I feel bad that people get treated this way because stupid bitches be ignorant but I did laugh

  • that was perfect looool

  • wait!twins or am I really hopped up on tequila? :-)

  • from east africa, & i can totally relate to this. when some of these ignorant white chicks see an african-looking person, they always be asking "do you know them?" or "are you related to them". HOOOLY FUCK. makes me wanna punch them. also, since my hair is long and curly, they're always like "you got nice hair for an african" or "is that even your real hair, cause I thought african people couldn't grow long hair" -_-

  • African, Born raised and still living in Britain... SO THIS IS MY LIFE. However I have educated the people close to me that I know who use to think this way to think otherwise. Im proud to say there just a little tiny bit less ignorant people in the world because of me :)

  • You forgot to mention "Do you speak African" that gets me everytime. Makes me wanna punch someone

  • Sorry

  • Lol this was hilarious. And one of my friends is from India but him and his parents were born in Nigeria, and whenever people ask him what he is, he says he's Nigerian, and they're so shocked! lmao not everyone from Africa is black! It's a very diverse continent.

  • @spiffynibbelz193 Don't you mean he's from Nigeria but he's Indian? Just wondering cause wouldn't being born in Nigeria make him and his parents from Nigeria?

  • @SocailQueen Yeah i guess that would make more sense. He himself doesn't really identify with being "Indian" since he's never been there/doesn't speak the languages etc and is more in touch with his Nigerian nationality, but yeah. Lol it is kind of confusing but it depends on what the person identifies better with I guess.

  • I dated an African in college and they have stupid notions about Americans. It works both ways.

  • @supertoshaful lol you dated an african...do you even know what country they were from or did they just tell you africa?

  • @SocailQueen, Didn't know you needed specifics. Here is the information you requested. He was from Liberia, Cape Palmas. He is from the Kru tribe. My point is still...He had crazy notions about America just like Americans have about Africa. You act like we should know more than we're exposed. Please! And if we're so ignorant, why do many break their necks to get here.

  • @supertoshaful Not because of YOU. Because of the opportunities and/or to get a higher education. Get it off your thick skull that we envy you. We do not.

  • 5:17 LOOOOOOOOOOL

  • I hate when my teahers say things like, that girl in the other class is from africa too are you guys sisters or related?. I just wanna smack then because I've lived in Canada all my life and i plan to do so for the rest of it. And when you bring something like rice to school, they ask what it is and they say it looks like jambalaya. One of my teachers asked a guy where cote d'ivoire is and they said Europe. People need to be educated on these things like foreal. i aint angry just annoyed is all

  • I have lived in the UK for 7 years now and I have heard about 90% of these things said to me and lost track of the amount of times people have quoted Mean Girls' "If you're from Africa, why are you white?".

  • Ya'll Ignorant a'f You Know All Black People Are From Africa #RealSh*t

  • hahaha im from South Africa and whenever I go over seas people are like, 'why aren't you black?' haha

5:43 and onwards is hilarious!! :D

    great video!

  • I'm Jamaican and trust me...some americans say dumb stuff to us too. The whole "do you have roads there?" Yeah, they say that to us too. lol Everyone also thinks all Jamaicans smoke weed. lol I hate how people generalize about "african" people. Like helloooo! Aren't there over 40 countries on the CONTINENT?! All the media every shows is the "feed the children" ads and the news of when something tragic happens in some remote village somewhere. SMH

  • As an African in Britain I really need to go to America and see how Africans are treated. Such ignorance -__-

  • LOL at the video but its kind of annoying when people have some shitty pre conceived notions about africans..bitch i dont know everything about africa cuz im nigerian and no i dont know mr bones, i dont speak zulu, i celebrate christmas, and i came here by a plane not a damn boat and no the girls dont run around naked while chasing simba, and we have fridges and electrical stuff, there are white africans in the south and arabs in the north..i wonder what they teach the kids in america

  • I know this is really off topic, but where did you get your hair? It's gorgeous.

  • good video. very funny. i died at the clicking part!!!

  • LMAO. I'm an American, Arab, East African Mix. and when I go to visit my relatives, I always get questions from friends, How do you get there? by a boat? -______- soo ignorant.

  • omg am from africa too been asked alot of questions like same al same how did u?how do u? etc all these ignorant people should start travelling to other countries to see for themselves and not to hear or c on tv things so africa like any other continent has rich and poor pple am proud of being one

  • omg, I'm from South Africa. I laughed throughout this entire video but I also got so irritated because the sad thing is.... a lot of people from out of Africa (mainly Americans) ask me 1. Do you live in a hut? 2. How are you indian and living in Africa? 3. Do you have a pet lion? -- the small mentality of some people is so sad

  • Ok. I know this might appeal to the stereotype about us Africans, but honestly, I want a monkey so fucking badly >.<

  • My hubby is from Nigeria...when I asked him what kind of childhood games he played as a kid he responded, "We didn't have games. We played in the bush with the monkeys." I was like (sarcastically), "Really. you played with monkeys?" he said, "No. I played with the lions. The other kids played with monkeys" I was rotfl.

  • its all lies, her monkey scammed me for three fitty just the other day

  • My name is Olawunmi...damn, 2:50 is the story of my life.

  • i was in class, and a african song csame on, and my teacher was like cme over here! what are they saying? and i was like "miss i'm from nigeria" not the whole of africa.lol

  • Click click click wat did i say?.. haha killer!!

  • Hmmmmmm it's so funny how some people can be so ignorant when it comes to Africans.... I am African Liberian to be exact. The young man at the end of the video sounded a tad more "educated" than everyone else though.

  • snow, monkes, track, and tiger marks!

  • OMG TRUEEEE

  • Thumbs up to that last boy!!

  • lol

  • that last guy was educated. and cute :)

  • This is awesome!

  • someone needs to slap some sense into this girl!!

  • @MultiSt1ckman lets see your channel 0 subscribers 0 videos hmmmmm..... ok man got you

  • love this . i am about to make almost the same video as this soon .

great job you guys ! no one could do it better !

  • this is vid might be funny but its offensive too

  • @nellya1 how is this offense showing the ignorance of people

  • @nellya1 They are both Africans, u can tell by their accents..

  • the questioner at the end was a great idea, something different and more educational.

  • its not the common peoples fault for thinking this way, the media portrays Africa and Africans as undeveloped living in huts and running with lions and playing with monkeys. same thing the media portrays native americans talking to trees and turning into wolves and being poor and drunk. this is funny though

  • Africa "i love that country" smh!

  • Thank God the last black boy was not ignorant. Ignorance shouldnt be confused with honesty. Wow!

  • Love this video! I can so relate. thanks for posting :)

  • I laughed so hard my chest hurts!!! It's good to know I'm not alone lol

  • What type of racist people are you surrounded by? Hahah damn.

  • I hate when people ask me Roc I speak African there's no such thing as African language its a bug fucking continent do you really think there's one language

  • Funny and creative video. a decade ago from 5:29 people in the United States thought the same thing about China, now they boast the second largest economy in the world.

  • LMAO

    Good vid.

Most people don't even assume I'm African, as soon as I let them know then all the trouble begins SMH lol.

  • wtf i thought they were the same girl till that scene when i seen them together lmaoo

  • for some reason she reminds me of raven symone

  • I seriously don't understand why people think Africa is so undeveloped. It is just like everywhere else, we do have cars, cutlery and CLOTHES. Some parts are poor just like every other continent has poor parts. The media just refuses to show the good and wealthy areas. So everyone imagines Africa as some Zulu land -_- All the media does is promote the images of children starving and people clicking their tongues to communicate. They almost never show the REAL Africa *sigh*. It's a shame really !

  • @bissify clicking their tongues to communicate lmaoo. I only see south africans do that, and that's usually only place they go but at least it shows we're actually developed.

  • Africa is a continent! for all those ignorant idiots out there! its the most diverse in the world! you wiill see north africans who looks Spanish,European/Arab..you will see all ranges of skintones from very far/porclelain to dark! all hair textures, all languages, all religions! ITS THE MOST DIVERSE CONTINENT! fromm morrocco to Algeria,Nigeria to Libya,Botswana to Ghana,Kenya to Egypt,Sudan to Mauritania! Africans are the most beautiful people!

  • @markee871 PREACH!!!!!

  • Ignorance is really ugly. a what a shame. but sadly truth!!!

  • sooo true

  • I honestly dont find this funny at all... It's just sad and offensive. Thank God the people I know are intelligent enough not to say or ask some of the dumb and offensive things you have posted... Eg "Africans smell

  • @wamwangi597 look, we africans have to laugh at the stupid stuff that people throw at us all the time.. why get mad at ignorance that comes from the media. ? americans in particular are the worse offenders because they are isolated from the rest of the planet. and when you are an african with an english accent it confuses them even more.. that is very amusing seeing just how much it throws them for a loop ....

  • Hahahaha best question I've ever been asked is "Do you ride lions or elephants to school?"

  • so sad but true

  • White girl: I heard in Africa, you guys live on trees.

Me: Yeah, my family lives on the tallest tree. What do you take us for? A Tarzan generation?

  • looool, so true..someone told me once "you said you're Nigerian? your English is so good" I was like -_-

  • Hahahahaha , Omg this is So good , I sat there laughing whole time ... The guy at the end is so cute ... Good going Girls ..

  • u freaking made my night girls! i can def. relate to at least 50% of this! i just CAN NOT stop laughing! hahahaha....~~~~u guys r beautiful!

  • I'm a white South African in America... and about 80% of this applies to me. My mother once convinced a particularly stupid friend of hers that when we lived there, she had to keep the windows closed so that the giraffes didn't peak their heads in and eat fruit off the table.

  • The classic one i got was "where did you get your english accent " ? and the person asking me was SERIOUS ! i was going to tell her to check the SUNGLASSES TWO FOR ONE SALE .. but she would have gone there to check it out . americans can be so literal when it comes to stuff like that.. sheesh!

  • some of this stuff is so true ! get the some seriously idiotic comments when i travel to the states they are so uneducated when it comes to information about the outside world. its alarming for a country that is supposed to be "developed"

  • this should be retitled The stupid things americans say ....lol hahhaa

  • so funny !!!

  • Back in high school my friends would always sing that lion king intro AA SA WENYAAA! when I walked through the hall ways -.-

  • Put it on WSHH

  • is this at fairview mall in Toronto?

  • ehh!! Africa has suffered hehehehhe

  • THANK GOD FOR THE BLACK MAN AT THE END!!!!!!! LOL He redeemed it for all the ignorance that preceded him lol

  • "What's the first thing you think of when you think of Africa?"

Kinky hair (looks around). What's wrong with people living tribally as their ancestors have for eons? What's wrong with being bush if you're healthy, educated, necessities are met and are not in debt?

  • covering my fuckin face..!

  • This is on point

  • hahaha I'm so proud to be African. :D

  • you're so pretty1 I love this video :)

  • you are from Tanzania?

my 5th Grade, I had this one friend , she was from Nigeria, Do you know here?

    hahahaha can't stop laughing

Thank you very much.... great video

  • Maaan, am telling you am having a rough time with questions like have you ever heard of Michael Jackson? Get outta here do you have fb in Africa? can you speak a little African? how did you get here? Are you serious, you have planes in Africa like real planes? Did you go to High School in Africa? Where, in Oprah school? Can you pronounce your last name for me? (I get this one all the time) People need to grow up.

  • @kellytahotbabe and i bet that they are all americans !! lol its not as bad here in the uk as we have the west indians, but the images of africa are very much tied up in what is fed to us by the media if you are not an african to know better you would get sucked into the LIES and DECIET .. trust me the very same people who want to keep diaspora hating and ignorant of where they get their dna from are making themselves RICH in our TERRITORY ..

  • infact...the entire video is a story of my college life

  • every African can relate to 2:51 lol

  • THE BEST YET ON THIS TOPIC!! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS - PEOPLE NEED TO STOP ASKING/SAYING SUCH IGNORANT QUESTIONS/STATEMENTS!
