  • wow, legendary game! thanks for posting.

  • u can't tell me jordan and kobe don't have similar moves and mannerisms on the court.

  • Dr J dunk on jordan!?!

  • @hoopsencyclopdia, I like how you have a good feel of when to put certain highlights in slo-mo, like at 3:03-3:23. Michael did stay with Dr. J, and also had a help defender alter his shot. Right when I was watching the clip at regular speed, I thought, "I need to see this in slo-mo." And, bam. Nice.

  • I still say why do we say Jordan is the best player to ever play the game and we act like Dr. J never existed?? Somebody answer me that. Dr. J own his era.

  • THERE SO MANY MOVES THAT JORDAN DID IN THIS VIDEO THAT ARE OT ON NBA 2K12

  • Man this is great! Dr. J still had it at his age, and MJ is, well, he's MJ.

  • I would love to see that entire game. Doctor J looks like he brought his A game that night, Jordan was on fire. Looks like it'd be a really great game. Though, to me, the real highlight of that was Erving's first dunk. Freaking amazing.

  • Doctor J's slam was the best, and he was in his mid 30s.

  • Michael jordan is the only player who can do moves that can never be translated to a videogame. Damn

  • Mature MJ (as a pro basketball player) was a smart, complete and brillant player who won 6 rings...but young MJ was a monster who used intimidating athetic moves.

  • Big hands for a guard? He's fucking 6'6" That act like the guys 6 feet tall.

  • @epics7 right!!!! he was BIG for a guard but his hands were in line with his height. just slightly larger than unusual

  • pause at 2:17 Jordan logo

  • I love mike but he wanted none of that dr.j dunk at 2:00

  • if he's wearing the 2's wouldnt it be 1986? just saying not hating.

  • @bigben1986 yes maybe on the photo it was1986 but on the game he was wearing the 1st air jordan it mean the game was in year 1985

  • @aink No in that photo he had on the jordan 2's look again.

  • @Cooley96 just like I said on the photo jordan 2 and video jordan 1

  • Dr. J and Barkley's 76rs? You better bow down to Moses Malone and apoligize.

  • 2:16 Jordan Jumpman

  • 5:07 didn't he travel? :s *

  • 5:05 didn't he travel? :s

  • Highest Vertical Jump in NBA

    Michael Jordan 48" (122 cm) Darrell Griffith 48" (122 cm) Spudd Webb 46"Dee Brown 44"Harold Miner 44"Vince Carter 43"Steve Francis 43"Antonio McDyess 42"Dominique Wilkins 42"Allen Iverson 41" (104 cm) Dr. J 41"Julius Erving 41"Shawn Kemp 40" (102 cm) Larry Nance 40"Rex Chapmann 39"Kobe Bryant 38"Desmond Mason 38"Ralph Sampson 36"Daryl Dawkins 34"Shaquille Oneal 32"Lamar Odom 32"Magic Johnson 30"Karl Malone 28"Larry Bird 28"

  • @leo16115 No current players jump higher? blake griffin? Jamario Moon?

  • @leo16115

    and drexler 47''

  • @leo16115 Your telling me that no one had a higher vertical then 28"+? That's a list of the verticals of known players...

  • @leo16115 Spud Webb jumps less than Jordan and Griffith??? You must to learn basketball...

  • @leo16115 Where is this from?

  • @Cooley96 i was thinking the same thing

  • @leo16115 larry bird, highest uh?....

  • 31 is nothing for Jordan his career average was that before he joined the wizards.

  • @PowerFactory238 I meant on 3 occasions, not 3 times. The 85,87,88contests. It was actually 4 occasions, the last being Magic's Midsummer Nights Charity game in 91. If u wanna get picky, technically MJ has never dunked from the free throw line as his feet crossed the line everytime. In 85 he was about a toe past the line, in 87 half a ft past, 88 almost his whole foot past it, and the same thing in 91 at Magics game. The only guys who ever dunked behind the line are Serge Ibaka and James White.

  • I know its not the point of the video but why is it barkley and Dr. Js sixers? moses malone was the best player on the team. but still MJ >

  • LBJ FANS STAY OFF THIS PAGE!

  • Damn Dr J had bounce...

  • 2:17 the logo of his airness!

  • 5:12 effin crazy

  • 1. JORDAN 2. kobe 3. lebron 4. wilt 5. THE DOCTOR!! ....my top 5 all time

  • he can do that to Dr. J when he was rookie...but Kobe cant do that to MJ when he was rookie

  • @aink kobe bust mj dude

  • @aink becuz allen iverson was doin it 4 him lol

  • well mj is the best ever but toney mostly guard him,not drj(he was 35-6,pass his pmri but still avr 20p)

  • The are lots of other players that have dunked from the line, Drexler, Brent Barry, Pippen...so far i've only seen 2 players that haven't touched the line, those 2 players being Serge Ibaka and James White. JW is prob the best free throw dunker ever, check the vids on Youtube where he actually takes off about 1.5-2 IN FRONT of the line lol, and has done it from the line with 2 hand double pump, btwn the legs, and windmill also. As for Wilt, no way in hell, dude is 7ft+ and like 350lbs no waayyy

  • @Emil308 7'1"1/16 with a 7'2" wingspan with a 48" vertical 250 lbs as a rookie, wilt was a collegiate high jump champion and back in his day(college basketball days) players used to be able to jump from behind the line to shoot their free throws and he was the first person to dunk from behind the line.

  • @djwc6 Ok, for somebody to be 7' plus with a 48" verticle is impossible my friend. Just to remind you how verticle jump is measured, its when you stand against a wall, and have the highest point you can reach while flat-footed marked off. Then, with taking ONE step (not a run up, only 1 step) touch as high as u can. Vert jump is then the distance between your flat-footed reach height and the height u reached taking ONE step. That being said, IMPOSSIBLE that Wilt had a 48" vert. U kidding?? lol

  • @djwc6 Think about it, Wilt is 7'1" roughly ok? If his wing span is 7'2'" divide that in half for his standing reach with 1 hand (43 inches), add that to his height of 7'1'' and that's Wilts standing reach height at about 10.5 feet. Now you're saying he had a vert of 48" or 4 ft?!! Add 4 ft to 10.5 feet, thats a total of 14.5 feet! You're telling me that Wilt could reach a height of 4.5 ft ABOVE the rim?? No way in hell buddy, not chance. Wilt's vert was prob about 30" and that's being generous

  • @Emil308 wilts standing reach measured at the univ. of kansas was 9'6" (his arm is attached to his shoulder not to the top of his head) now i've seen video of him blocking shots at the peak of their height which appear to be at the level of the top of the backboard, which is what 13 ft?this was when he was with the lakers and weighed 300 lbs in his mid 30s.so,please correct me if i'm wrong,36"+6"=42" so when he was in his early twenties and weighed 220.i think 48 is a probable

  • @djwc6 Good point on his arm being attached to his shoulder not the top of his head haha. So yes, deduct about 1' to compensate for the height of his neck and head, so yeah standing reach height would be around 9'6" correct. BUT...as for your math equation, yes, 36+6=42, but your numbers are off my friend. You're forgetting the def of VERT JUMP. Wilt ain't blocking shots only taking one step man. 9/10 he's taking a run up. So to say his vert is 42" is nuts, 48"? Not a chance in hell. At 48"

  • that means you're saying he's getting his hand 6" (HALF A FOOT!) ABOVE THE BACKBOARD?? N-O W-A-Y I-N H-E-L-L. Plus in his early twenties no wayyyy in God's green Earth Wilt weighed 220lbs lol thats halarious. U serious?? Most GUARDS in the NBA weigh 220lbs, some even more. But you're saying at 7'1" Wilt weighed 220lbs as a 20-something? Sorry man but that's rediculous, at the very least Wilt weighed 240-250 in his early 20's and thats even being generous. At 48" Wilt would have the highest

  • @djwc6 vertical of all time, higher than MJ, Vince, Dr.J, David Thompson, Dwight Howard?! Even with a runup Wilt's vert wasn't even close to 42" and def not in a mill yrs anywhere near 48". Wilt is NOT getting 4' off the ground when he jumps dude, and NO WAY IN A BILLION YRS AT 7+ FT AND 250+LBS DUNKING FROM THE LINE hahaha. 95% of GUARDS in the NBA can't dunk from the line. No disrespect dude, but you either don't know much about basketball, or need to engage in some plain common sense.

  • @Emil308 /watch?v=fyz-FhP2ONk @ 3:45 Tex Winter describes watching Wilt dunk from the free throw line. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I believe him, however, there is precedent for fans to believe that he could.

  • @kileer7 It's not like theres no footage from Wilts playing days, he wasn't THAT old. There were video camera from his days. Wilt was a SUPERSTAR, the hottest ticket back in the day, if there was ever a time Wilt dunked from the line SOMEBODY would have got it on tape don't u think? It's physically impossible to be able to have strong enough legs to lift 240+ lbs off the ground, maintain that for a distance of 15 feet, and still have the height to dunk a 10 ft rim. IMPOSSIBLEEEEE

  • @Emil308 lebron is only 6'8" and 240 lbs,he is able to dunk from the line, chamberlain even at his rookie weight of 250 wouldn't of had to jump as high/far because of his 5 extra inches of reach.

  • @djwc6 Can LBJ really dunk from the line? There's nothing more convincing that video evidence my friend, and if you know of any footage of LBJ dunking from the line i'd like to see it.

  • @Emil308 at "lebron james dunks from the free throw line" on youtube the video shows lebron dunking during a game from an inch or two inside the line certainly closer to the line than i've seen vince

  • @djwc6 I know exactly what LBJ clip you're talking about, the game against the Bucks...but you need to look at it more closely next time, he doesn't dunk it from the line but in fact about a foot and a half PAST the line. Dunking from the line is dunking from the line, dunking "close" to the line or "almost" from the line doesnt count.

  • @Emil308 you are correct there is a new video that shows this in slow motion and lebron is clearly several inches past the line

  • @Emil308

I have not seen LBJ dunking from the free throw line. Michael and and Dr. J did it on a routine basis.

  • @GlobalRenaissance When did I argue that LBJ did dunk from the free throw line? As for MJ and the Dr doing it on a "routine" basis, I wouldn't call dunking it from the line a couple times in a couple contests over x amount of yrs routine. I'm pretty sure MJ has dunked from the line 3 times in his life on camera...3 times over his 14 yr career isn't exactly routine. Plus if you want to get picky, neither Doc nor MJ took off beforeeee the line, but slightly past it.

  • @Emil308 i found another reference to wilts dunking from the free throw line on "you cant blame wilt chamberlain part 2" and there was no video tape back in the sixties and early seventies,as a matter of fact most colleges used film with low quality cameras into the early eighties.

  • @Emil308 don't believe me,dr jack ramsey says it as well on " sportscentury pete maravich wilt chamberlain part 1" .i have also seen several of his teamates stating the same,if i run across them again i let you know

  • @djwc6 See my response to kileer7

  • @djwc6 And no way in hell is a 250+lbs center dunking from the free throw line, it's physically impossible man. You might wanna take that back before you start a stampede lol

  • at 1:54 michaels getting ready to jump and challenge the doctor at the hoop at 1:55 he thinks better of that decision.

  • and?

  • michael jordan signature dunk 2:16

  • MJ looked so skinny back then. How much did he weight in his rookie year?

  • List of the elites

    Dr J- MJ-Kobe-D Rose

  • @razorbackriff take out d rose and your all good.

  • thank you brings back memories

  • It was the way with Mj vs Dr.J

Theyre doing the same shit with Mj & LBJ.

It always happen and will continue to happen as long as the NBA continues to exist.

  • airness...

  • lmao when u think about it its crazy how this kind of argument is gonna go on forever. the older generation is gonna say dr j is better than mj then (my generation)is gonna say mj is better than dr j then the next generation is sayin kobe is better than both mj an dr j(an we disagree of course)an now the latest generation is sayin lebron(an some say dwayne wade)is better than dr j mj an kobe(an we disagree lmaoo) kids born in 02 is probaly sayin kevin durant is the goat lol is it ever gonnastop?

  • @shatta54321 I think it has... noone mentions Dr.J man. LOL

  • @mrblend lol i think he dont get mentioned that much anymore cause the furthest the newer generation will look back is to mj, but i see him get a 1 or 2 mentions here an there if not him then larry or magic is brought up instead or wilt or kareem lol kinda makes me wonder if theres gonna be a day when mj is hardly/never mentioned

  • did anybody see jordan move out the way when dr. j elevated for the first dunk?lol

  • Doctor J fan all the way, nobody had the moves like the Dr.

  • In these game jordan vs Moses, charles, julius , maurece

  • "Holy toledo"

  • Remember the game but Rod Higgins and Andrew Toney were unheralded players in those times...

  • @alanta123 What if I type in stop posting this shit on every video what happens then? Type in baby dunking and you'll see a video of me chucking a baby at a hoop.

  • God bless MJ

  • Great footage of M J & Doc timeless classic

  • Its not often u hear an announcer say MJ da "rookie"......-P0iZ3N

  • jordan is better but erving is awsome too

  • that last shot was insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jordan did things no one ever has ever done. Man, I miss him.

  • Irving at 35 bangin on the rim like that damn!! That was for young Jordan to let him know I'm still here baby.

  • *4:18*...*MJ* need I say more, lol!

  • *1:55*...*DOCTOR J* need I say more?

  • Dr j is way better

Micheal is good to but Barkley stinks

  • Last shot he made was tight. He cocked it like he was gonna dunk it then pulled back for the shot. Who does that? So far he has been the only one able to. But to be fair this era has to many rules to enable peremeter players to drive at will or risk getting a foul to for breathing on them to hard so they won't even get a chance to put up the circus shots MJ has made.

  • DJ is boss

  • Charles Barkley looks like Sinbad here.

  • LOL! Jordan did his own "Jumpman Logo" dunk @ 2:17

  • This is a classic!!

  • Thats not fair Dr.j could still get up and go. His game was never dominating. In fact he looked like he played with a lil more Passion that game.

  • 2:09

Jordan almost posterized by Dr. J.

    Classic!

  • first julius erving then michael jordan then kobe bryant

  • Oh come on, you've got a young/athletic Jordan up against a Dr. J looking like a shadow of his former self.

  • I remember finally coming to grips with the fact that MJ was a better NBA player than Dr.J [never saw J for the first THIRD of his career in the ABA]

I luved the Doc and hated to admit it, but what convinced me was Jordan's superior court vision and passing abilities. I noticed that when J drove, he wasn't able to dish as effectively as Jordan-not even close

for those that say MJ was a B-HOG early on, FOUR OF HIS FIVE HIGHEST ASSIST YEARS WERE IN THE 80's

    was always a great passer

  • any1 hear the crowd when Micheal did that move at 3:43?

  • Comment removed

  • He was Captain Marvel before he was Air Jordan...

  • @hoopsencyclopedia no man, he was Captain Marvel before he was Air Jordan...

  • 2:03

Jordan: "defend drj defend drj defend drj defend drj"

    Dr. J: -jumps for dunk-

    Jordan: "Fuck it, never mind"

  • @eaterofcandy lol i luv dr.j

  • Lots of talent on the floor in that game....

  • @thethug89 exactly rite!

  • Jordan is ard but he was just ahead of his time that dont make hiim the best player ever

  • @thethug89 So you were born in 89 huh? I was born in the mid seventies. I watched Jordan in his prime!. I watched Dr. j as he was declining but remember when he was the main attraction. Michael Jordan is the best fundamentally sound b.ball player ever. 4get about his athleticism for a minute, 4get about his dunks for a minute,4get about his hang time, his grace. What about his defense, Foul shooting. Who have you seen in todays game that can do what Michael Jordan does? Kobe and Lebron can't

  • @thethug89 even do what we saw Michael Do. His baskeball IQ exceeds any player of today that i watch. Larry bird and Magic Johnson are the only ones close to that. JORDAN could out rebound Shaq half the time. Who could steal the ball like jordan. Who can dunk like Jordan. Take off from the foul line or the top of the key, i have seen jordan take off from almost as far as the 3 point line and float in for a finger role a foot away from the basket. who have you seen do that? KB? Stope Hating! MJ

  • @thethug89 when jordan went to chicago ,the bulls were the 2º worst team of the league, only the indiana pacers were worst. years later jordan gave them 6 championships. no doubt. he has been the greatest ever. numbers dont lie...

  • I've never seen this that good.. MJ's logo that is. Pause it around 2:17 and it's like u see his shoes. lol..

  • if ya insinuating that mj was better than dj, i like to have that stuff you smokin

  • love those bulls jerseys

  • Commentator after MJ's first shot: "...a guy gets a feel for scoring and really goes at it...Michael Jordan is in one of those modes right now"-- MJ had that "feel" for another eighteen years.

  • @1Eu4ic The commentator was doing his best to downplay how impressed and blown away he was by jordans previous play. He didn't know how to keep from giving off the idea that Jordan was the man now above Dr. J. You got to give him credit for respecting the Dock!

  • LOL triple pump at the end

  • Hah he is still rocking those all stars 0:02 he even has a new commercial with all stars

  • Hah he is still rocking those all stars 0:02 :)

  • Imitation is not only the greatest form of flattery, it is also the mother of civilizations. All civilization are built upon the foundation of ancient ones. The issue here is to adjust the construct to the need of modern time. This also goes with any other activity, sports included. Nobody is original per say. Indeed, there are always super-talented people who revolutionize the world, but they always improve upon previous work and take them to higher skies!

  • @AFRIKTODAY cosign to the fullest! its no need to get mad at someone for "copying" from the previous generation... in actuality, they should be happy that the following generation not only took notice of what was great yesterday, but introduced it to an entirely new generation to follow. again, NOTHING IS NEW UNDER THE SUN.

  • in all fairness, irving was 35 at this point

  • @r0llskyay0

whats crazy is at 35 -36 dr j still had hang time he still had crazy dunkin ability dr j was a monster

  • @blaqdiemenz Your right Dock was a MONSTER. Put a 25 year old Julius erving in todays game and give his the advantages of these players and he would totaly dominate. Dr. J is the only one I know that could Jump with Michael Jordan. Believe me he could jump just as high. Michaels jumping was a modified Dr.J.

  • @Bragadoshis Ever heard of a guy named Vince Carter? Pretty sure he could jump with MJ, and a hell of lot higher and better than the Doc

  • @Emil308 You smoking some good shit. Doc had a higher leap that M.J. during his prime. Jordan wasn't even the highest jumper in the NBA. Julius had both a better scoring game and defensive game that Vince lacked. David Thompson jumped higher than all of them.

  • @epics7 Smoking some good shit? Anyone who doesn't agree with you a smoker now? lol Doc never had a higher leap than MJ, even in his dreams. In Jordans heyday he WAS the highest jumper in the NBA...would u care to tell me who could jump higher? As for Doc being a better scorer than Vince, i'll go with that...even tho Vinces career ppg are only 2 pts less than Doc's ppg. Doc a better defender than VC? Definitely...DT jumping higher than em all? Doc for sure, MJ & Vince that's debateable.

  • @Emil308 agreed

  • @Emil308 they all (vince,mj,doc) were able to dunk from the free throw line, they all touched the line when they took off,so they all were within inches of each other in leaping ability.the only person i've heard of dunking from behind the free throw line was wilt chamberlain.

  • @djwc6 chamberain from free throw line...r u stupid?

  • @Emil308

Mmm. Dr. J may have damn well had better hops in his prime than Jordan. It's close enough anyhow.

  • @FavreianVengeance If the Doctor had better hops than MJ i'd like to see it.

  • @Emil308

It's not a hard find. Google Dr. J's and Jordan's top 10 dunks. I personally think Dr. J's are more exciting, more air. I think Dominique beats em both though.

  • Dr. J's dunks more exciting that MJs?! Dominique beatin them both? MJ had WAYYYYY more variety of dunks in his career, more than Dr or Dominique put together. Obviously you're entitled to your opinion, but you're the only guy i've ever heard who thinks Dr J and Wilkins are better dunkers than Jordan. Wilkins was a power dunker, he wasn't a skywalker. Jordan was both. Plus 99.999% of the time DW always jumped off both feet. In this order IMO MJ>V.Carter>Kemp>Kobe>B.Griff>James White>DW>Doc

  • @Emil308

Are you kidding me? Watch an OLDER Dr. J cradle Cooper to sleep in the freaking NBA Finals. That dunk alone was sweeter than any dunk Jordan ever did. And most of Dr. J's games from the 70's aren't on video. We really are missing out on a lot of sweet shit. And hell yea, Dominique was a better dunker than Jordan. YT the Bird, Dom dual and watch the one where he misses his shot comes from the top of the key and rises above Bird n Chief. Goodness!

  • @FavreianVengeance I've seen Docs cradle dunk against Coop tons of times, sick dunk yes, the sickest one he's done in his life IMO. But sweeter than ANY dunk Jordan EVER did? Put down that weed bro. U need to check out some oldschool MJ vids. And DW was not a better dunker than Jordan. DW's putback against the Celts, yeah nice dunk. But how bout MJs slamming home Pippens missed free throw? Just type in "Michael Jordan 6 missed freethrow putback dunks" See that vid. Nuff said.

  • @FavreianVengeance Hey man to each his own, but how many people out of 1000 would agree with me, and how many would agree with you? Be honest.

  • @Emil308

I think frame of reference is huge. How many kids under 20 even know Dr. J? How many people under 30 are all MJ'd out? So sure 900 out of a 1000 would say MJ. But I think if you polled hardcore fans that went to games in the 70s and 80s, people would more likely say Dr. J. I mean he was giving Nique and MJ a run for their money in the 85 dunk contest and he was like a year away from retirement by then. DJ could probably touch the top of the backboard at one point.

  • @FavreianVengeance 900 out of 1000 would say MJ is a better dunker because they're right, not because Doc played in an era before their time.Got nuttin to do with eras bro. It's not like the video camera was invented when Doc retired and Jordans career took off, there's plenty of footage of Doc dunking in his prime. And the footage don't lie my friend. Personally I believe if you polled 70s and 80s fans people they would still say MJ is a better slammer lol.

  • @FavreianVengeance Plus MJ did better in the contest than Doc did, as did Nique, so I don't see your point on how Doc gave them a run for their money. As for Doc touching the top of the backboard? Mehhh, I doubt it. Lots of players make that claim, like Earl the Goat. Yet nobody has got it on tape. Like I said there's nothing more convincing than video footage, and so far I haven't seen a single player touch the top of the backboard. 13-14 ft range, but never the top.

  • @Emil308

LOL - You're proof that people will say anything. I thought DJ was in that 85 contest, but it turns out he wasn't. You were willing to pretend that you saw the contest though and that Dr. J did worse. And perhaps your right that top of the backboard is only urban legend. But you are wrong b/c Doc and Nique have had some amazing dunks that have not been repeated. Jordan's dunks are constantly repeated.

  • @FavreianVengeance I'm proof that people will say anything? LOL Did the fact that people say anything REALLY need to be proved? LOL that's funny seriously...now back to the topic. You're 2nd sentence, is that an attempt at trying to be funny? lol I didn't pretend anything bro, I did see the 85 dunkoff it's not hard to find, and yes, Doc DID do worse. But if u say he didn't then perhaps you'd like to try to explain to me how he didn't win it? Or at least fare better than MJ or Nique? C'mon bro

  • @FavreianVengeance Doc and Nique have had dunks that have not been repeated? LOL now I KNOW you're not a basketball fan and haven't watched much bball at all. Haven't been repeated? U SERIOUS? Docs and Niques dunks are repeated on a NIGHTLY basis in todays NBA. lollll. Niques signature dunks were 360, basic reverse, windmill, or lob off the backboard. But yur right, we haven't seen that at all since Nique LMAO. Dude, your arguments started out iffy, but now you're just downright rediculous lol

  • @Emil308 "Doc and Nique have had dunks that have not been repeated? LOL now I KNOW you're not a basketball fan and haven't watched much bball at all. " - You don't know shit. I aint even getting to the rest of your bull shit. Find me another dunk like Dr. J cradling Cooper to sleep during the Finals. Find me a dunk like Niques against Boston where he missed a shot from the top of the key off the back of the rim and then skyed over 3 Celtics to dunk in the high miss. GO AHEAD AND SIT DOWN N STFU.

  • @Emil308 doc was the best of the dunkers, everything jordan has done was done by doc 10 years earlier, they had to cut off the bottom of the backboard because doc kept hitting his head, this allowed higher dunks from down the lane

  • @Emil308 Spudd had a higher leap than Jordan -.-

  • @tenkai1590 Don't be silly bro, Spudd Webb definitely did NOT have a higher leap than Jordan. Webb may have had a higher verticle, but that's only cause he was so short. But when it comes down to who could get their hand higher above the rim, it was MJ for sure. If Spudd had a higher leap that Jordan i'm pretty sure he woulda won a few more dunk contests, not to mention having dunked alot more than Jordan did in his career, which he defffff did not, not even close.

  • @Emil308 Alright well of course, I thought you meant vertical, Spudd had way more than anybody

  • @Emil308 Bull shit you motherfucking bitch. Dr had a higher leap than MJ. In his prime Julius jumped higher. Only Dave Thompson jumped higher.

  • @epics7 Glad to see you can have a mature adult conversation without swearing like a 6th grader. Not only are you a dumb cunt who doesn't know shit about basketball, you're fuckin slow too, that comment was over 3 months ago you tool. Ask 100 people who could jump higher MJ or Doc and more than 85 of them will tell you MJ u bitch STFU. Ignorant fuck beat it....

  • @r0llskyay0 Who cares??? MJ still avg 30 points a game when he was 35!

  • @Domini478 Dr. J was a lot bigger than jordan in terms of weight and overall stature. so 35 was a lot more strenuous on the body for Dr. J than MJ

  • @r0llskyay0 jordan won a championship at 35 too though

  • @r0llskyay0

Jordan fans aren't interested in reality. They wear his shoes, nuthuggers and drink gatorade and want to believe they're just like they're hero.

  • 4:25 OMFG MJ was so going to throw it down bigtime there.

Also, "here comes barkley...the MAC TRUCK is out of controlllll !!!" LMFAO

  • "here comes barkley...the MAC TRUCK is out of controlllll !!!" LMFAO

  • Dr. J made it look so easy--watch his earlier games and he is just running circles around the other players. Jordan had that ability but also added extra snap that took it to the next level.

  • @littlescratchykitty because of that shaq said that Michael Jordan is "the hip hop version" of Dr.J... lol

  • its not fair, air jordan was better at everything. hes a legend. he was great from the start to the end, unmatched by anyone in the universe

  • I love these old games!

It's amazing to see Michael in his early years. :D

  • 1:55 Dr. J!

  • Michael's great because he played with great players and proved his worthiness!

  • man he takes off from from so far

  • @3DStoneCt no u been watchin 2 much kobe

  • I think we can all agree that Kobe Bryant is way better than Jordan. You guys see how Jordan is stealing Kobe's moves. Dang Jordan is so weak compared to Kobe. It's amazing how Kobe is so advanced while Jordan is totally unpolished as a basketball player. Kobe would kill Jordan.

  • @3DStoneCt your joking right

  • @frequemag Hell yeah I'm joking. I'm crazy but not that crazy. Kobe needs to go somewhere with his psychopathic self. Seriously, Kobe Bryant has a mental disorder trying to take on the life of Jordan by talking like him, wagging his tongue like Mike, dribbling, shooting ,and just overall trying to be the reincarnation of Mike. All this tells me is that Kobe doesn't have his own identity as a man or as a basketball player - if anyone else were doing this in any walk of life, we'd say he's crazy.

  • @3DStoneCt You're reaching... They say that "imitation is the greatest form of flattery". Don't act like you have never stuck your tongue out whilst driving to the basket, shot a fadeaway, waved your finger as the defense buckles under the pressure of guarding you...Kobe is a TRUE student of the game by taking what the greats did and utilizing it to his advantage. Besides, Jordan doesn't mind...Name one great person that WASN'T inspired by someone else...

  • @TheNegrodamus89 Don't lick the sweat to get the needs met. Nobody who has original talent copies anyone else. People have mentors but to take on the actual personality of a guy is flat out PSYCHO-HOE. So what you need to do is examine the mental state of these guys - all of them are flat out nuts. Real people have original talent, which is why we appreciate them. Kobe has no original joints and none of the guys playing today got a piece.
