The actresses are Greer Garson and Marsha Hunt. I love Greer Garson and this film is one of my favorites, but I never, ever bought her as an American in this movie. She was always just a proper, genteel lady to me. No one else could have played Mrs. Miniver, that much is for sure.

This movie is from 1941 "Blossoms in the Dust". Edna is Greer Garson. Edna's fiance "Damon" is played by John Eldredge. :-)
