  • Nice video, but I only watched it to see the chick in the shorts.

  • very good camera movements. so sad that the Japanese Garden in Düsseldorf, Germany, has nothing to do with this greatest of all places.

  • Really compelling, nice!

  • Nihon ha subarashii kuni desu.

  • beautiful video :)

I love Kyoto <3 one of the best place in the world.

  • Just got it! I said you're as good as Kitano Takeshi, and you make a video at Kitano temple. Kind of you, whether it's wilful or not.

  • Lovely video - It has a wonderfully majestic and mystique feel about it... Coupled with a beautifully dressed woman in natural surroundings, it was always going to be a winner!!

    Goodbye ;)

  • Beautiful.

  • Slow, tense and meaningful camera moving reminds me of the Michelangelo Antonioni method. But the result is quite different. This way that lovely garden seems to be transformed into a special Japanese "floating world"...

  • Thank you for the great video.

  • @Nemesis093781 Thank you! \(^_^)/

  • Awesome! Another great place to visit when I, uh.... Visit. LOL!!! Do you have information on what kinds of equipment you use in your videos anywhere? Did you have to get a permit to film at this temple or anywhere else? Your slide shots are awesome, did you have a dolly for your tripod?

Great stuff, Im a huge fan!

  • @edtomorrow We always just go somewhere and start filming :) and we have a small dolly slider on our tripod. Thank you so much!

  • nice camera work! this is why I love Kyoto. There's so much to see and do. U need months to discover everything in this city. I want to come back!

  • @newyorkdiner Thank you so much for the compliment! :)

  • How do you achieve such smooth moving shots? Very well done!

  • @spellbunny We used a small dolly to film these shots. Thank you! :)

  • May I ask what the significance of rubbing that object at 4:35 is? It looks kind of like a carving of a bull but I could be mistaken. Enlighten me please...

  • @chargerfryar You got it right. It's a bull statue. :)

Rubbing the heads of bull statues said to make you more intelligent. Many students visit and rub the heads of them before praying at the shrines for success in studies or examinations. :)

  • so good!

  • @rsjdmmwd Thank you! :)

  • i LOVE these videos cause they make me feel like I'm in Japan...Hear the sounds that only people who were there would hear!

    :DD so good!

  • @nekochannel13 Arigato, Lili chan! \(^_^)/

  • I like those videos with just the original natural sound, no narration, no music - so relaxing :)

  • @saotome77 Thank you so much! HANAFUBUKI really like the videos with natural sound! But the next video will be a video with music, haha. We love music as well :)

  • Great video Yoko san. I don't know much about shooting film but the panning shots were very smooth. Did you guys use one of those weighted harnesses to do these shots? Very calm and beautiful....id love to see this in person! Please enjoy your weekend and be well.

  • @dre3k78 Thank you! We use a small dolly to film these shots. :)

  • Nice . The Quality of your video is always awesome :3

  • @Gell1welt69 Thank you so much! \(^_^)/

  • Very Cool! : )

  • @DaleCampbellAcoustic Thank you! As you know, we were influenced by you! :)

  • @HANAFUBUKI Glad you liked the look : ) What kind of dolly did you get?

  • @dalecampbellextras a small, hand-operated dolly :)

  • @HANAFUBUKI Nice, something I've been trying when operating mine by hand is shooting at 60fps or 50 fps and the bring it down to 24fps when editing gives a nice real slow motion and it gives the Dolly an even smooth glide. Also experimented with pull the camera along the dolly using a rubber band which 'absorbs' any uneven movements. Have fun with it ; )

  • @dalecampbellextras Thank you for the advise, Dale san! We'll try that! :)

  • I really liked this video, it looks stunning in 1080p :)

  • @resonatorproductions Thank you so much! :)

  • Beautiful video of Japan, 500000000000000000000000000000°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°+++++++++++++++++++++, thankssssssssssssssss, well done, joselito

  • @joselitomarjarino Thank you! \(^_^)/

  • Te digo lo mismo que te dicen todos: tu trabajo es fascinante, tiene algo especial difícil de encontrar en cualquier lugar. Por cierto, en este vídeo, resulta tan bello el lugar como tú misma.

I say the same thing that all the people tell you: your work is fascinating and has something special that is hard to find anywhere. By the way, in this video the place is so beautiful as yourself.

  • @Brouagh Thank you so much! Your comment made me happy :)

  • Some absolutely gorgeous shots there. Great camera work. They certainly have an eye for art, though I think any frame with you in it would be beautiful by default. I especially like the one at 3:29.

I missed the monkey park on my trip, but I did get here, and felt a great sense of inner peace. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

I really like the outfit too.

  • @JunmaiShu Thank you so much! I like @3:29 too! Your comment made me really glad :)

  • Awesome : )

  • @ThePlutoniumheart Thank you! \(^ ^)/

  • Very interesting camera work. Every video you've done is always fascinating.

  • @Is4536 Thank you so much! \(^ ^)/

  • Love the style you're using here to shoot the scenes. Almost hypnotic. Natural sounds over music is a nice touch as well. Kitano Tenman-gū is very beautiful.

  • @TFCHooligan69 Thank you! \(^ ^)/ We wanted to try something new for HANAFUBUKI. :)

  • You always have such great ideas. Simple, yet so effective! ♥

  • @yamatoami Thank you so much! \(^ ^)/

I love washing my hands in those temple fountains, especially on a hot day!

P.S. Your videos are helping me plan my next Japan trip!

P.P.S. Love those socks! American girls don't wear socks like that often =/

  • @Sindini Thank you so much! \(^ ^)/ I'm surprised you watched this long video till the end! :) And I learned something new about socks. Thank you for that too! :) - Yoko
