I am ALL about Don Pablos steak and chicken fajitas. Unfortunately our Don went out of business. As far as tacos, I'm not that picky, although I remember going through an all-beef phase, where that's all I wanted. To me it's important that there be no sour cream, and the cheese is not melted. I prefer forgoing lettuce in most circumstances, as when shredded it doesn't seem very fresh to me. Tomatoes are OK. Not too much spice. I had a bad taco bell experience, so now I'm a bit wary of them.
Everyone thinks I'm crazy but I don't like tomatoes either. And yes, my dad did everything he could to get me to eat 'em too. By trying to trick or coerce someone into eating something you guarantee they will hate it for the rest of their life.
a lil side fact the tomato is actually related to a plant called deadly nightshade. and for a long time were considered poisonous as well. i know a lil useless fact but i found it interesting lol
When I was young, I loved tomatoes. Then, one day, I hated tham and have ever since. I still can't explain it, as I'd eaten and loved one just the day prior to that.
you have no idea about a good taco girl, i have a little taco restaurant that opens at 6 am for breakfast. They have the little old ladies in the front of the restaurant making the tortillas from scratch. They have bacon and egg, bean and cheese, bean and bacon with cheese rock and they make a country sausage guisado that is spicy. You need to come down to south TEXAS
I have never had a full taco before, tried a bit of one in a Mexican restaurant in an American owned theme park (PortAventura) in Spain. I hate tomatoes as well, but I love tomato source/ketchup.
Oh, I just left you comment yelling at you for making me hungry, LOL. Tacos are the best food ever! My father laughs at me because whenever we go out to eat, that's usually the first thing I want.
We had this taco Restaurant up here called Mr. Taco, and the sign had a picture of a taco with a mustache and a sombrerro. He also wore a monacle, which I am not sure if that fits your discription or not, but maybe I could take a picture for you
Oh and I seriously just watched 6 minutes about tacos. The things I do for you!
No, no. I disagree. Shredded beef is the only way to go for the ultimate authentic taco! Lettuce of course and if it's a really greasy taco, then powdered cheese. If it's a healthier taco, finely shredded colby jack put under the lettuce so it gets melty. Then a non-chunky salsa.
Oh, and lots of chili powder in the seasoning for the beef :)
I llllooooovvveeee tacos. And now that you've made me hungry, you have to make me some tacos. You do. Nah, just kidding. I love all that stuff you talked about on my tacos. I used to not like sour cream on tacos or on anything else but now I really like it. Goodness, now I'm thinking about getting some tacos: there are a couple good places around here. Yep, I'm craving them and it's your fault, little lady! Hehe!
omg u know what? I had like Taco time just yesterday!!! What a coincidence...my tacos were just plain with cheese lettuce and tomatoes even though it is baaaaddd for us TGs to eat tomatoes with the eeevilll potassium x.x
Holy shit. You really love tacos. Of course you would. lol
I can't believe your dad put tomatoes in a pb&j sandwich. That's just not cool.

I did the same thing with peas; my mom put one in grape and I have never eaten/tasted a pea again.
Tomatoes: I like cooked tomatoes or diced up with garlic on on bread; but I could never eat a whole one raw.

If I go to one, I like to pick out a new one that has recently been remolded. With restaurants & hotels, I like to judge books by their covers.

I always get tomahtoes and lettuce removed. What's the point of cheese that isn't melted, anyway? :)

when there was a taco bell in my area, i used to go every other day. those grilled steak burritos were the greatest.
they shut that place down after 22 years due to bad hygiene practice. which never affected me. i must be immune to eating shit :"|.
