I don't support the fact that China annexed Tibet, but come on. The event is to promote the international olympic spirit, not "Asian values." I doubt China will suddenly think, "Wow, maybe we should let Tibet go." If that was the case, China would listen to the protestors in TIBET, not hippies in Paris and San Fran.

You know what, I think you are right on the spot. The Tibetans are poor as hell, how come they are everywhere? Who give them visas, who give them education in English and knows yelling "Freedom, and Free Tibet, etc."? Obviously not the Chinese government. You know, a big movement like this in all the major cities in Europe and US is like a presidential campaign, which cost billions.
You also need a new brain since the one your government provided to you needs to be formatted from scratch.
Invest some money on history books and buy most updated ones since many things happened after the 13th century... I would reccomend a good one about the 20th century... very interesting...
