dude ur spending too much m8! Im getting practically the same componects as u r but ur spending waaaay too much. The Asus Striker II Extreme already comes with a descent sound card so uve saved urself a little bit of money there. I am getting what u r getting but with a bit more quality. U gotta think about accessories aswell like thermal paste and stuff. With everything what I am getting its going to be just over £1000

Are you sure you wanna go for liquid cooling if this is your first real build? If that sucker leaks you are good and F'd. You might want to go with a couple of the 300gb raptors in raid 0 and the Q9650 yorkshire quad core 2 extreme processor if you're going for gaming, which obviously you are ;-). Just my $0.02

Hey gilmour, i think to build my computer with the same Case ( Antec Twelve Hundred) and Water cooling for the CPU, the big water 760i, so i have a question you have any problems to mount the Big Water 760i and the blue ray disk unit into this case? thnks

hey, i havent yet built it, but i know a gd friend of mine who built a similar setup with the 760i and he had no problems getting everything to fit, remember that there is loads of fan space on the front ;]

man im in football and for me to have a job, i would leave the school at 5:20, football gets out, go to work and get back at like 11:00 at night, no time for homework no stduy time ill just fail everything then get grounded life sucks at 15, lol

Well mate, its a bit overkill.

Get an E8400 and you can easily overclock it to 4GHz. I got that RAM and its awesome. the striker has loads of reported issues so not a good choice. Check out the Asus Rampage boards. Blu-ray is pointless on a desktop PC. Stick with the same case and gfx card. Although the PSU is huuge overkill. That will run easily off a 600 watt. (Check out Corsair TX-650).
