Beauty falls in love with her rapist, he takes her home, and they have sex in his barn, but his wife finds out anyway, she orders the twins kidnapped and cooked alive, and served to her husband. But the Chef does't, the wife's plan is exposed, she's executed,

Beauty and her rapist get married, and they and their bastards live hapily ever after.

And that's the gist of the fairy-tale this movie is based off of.

For those who are wondering where Disney came up with this story, it was based off of a story dating back to at least the 1600s.

In the origional version, Beauty's father (thinking that she was dead from a poisioned splinter) put her body on a cloth in the woods. A nobleman found her, raped her while she was asleep, then went home to his wife. She was woken by her newborn twins.

The noblman came back to have sex with her unconcous body again, only to find that she'd awoken.

@SinnFein4ever actually,Disney based this story of the classic fairy tale.Some people are so sick-minded and are determined to stamp out the good Disney did with the bad.Yes,he was racist and a member of the free masons(who were actually only looked down upon because they were part of a secret society,to do good in the world) .And ya,that thought of Disney being racist disgusts me.But he was part of a racist world.Had he lived in later years , I gurantee you he would have changed his perspective

@maliwahtallhei No, it's not. The "HD" version was actually a special version of the film presented in natural 16:9 format. Until the Diamond Edition, all versions were 4:3
