@blackspyful Marvel Encyclopdia has a habit of contradicting itself. For example if you go to Marvel.com and type in "top 10 martial artists in marvel" Shang Chi is second on the top 10 (1st being Iron Fist) and Cap isn't even on the the list and even I know that Cap deserves at least 4th place. So going by Marvels site doesn't really work its best to go by comic feats! ('Comic Vine' is a good place to compare characters)

The only reason Cap would pull of a win in a 1v1 would be for plot convenience.

A BIG MISCONCEPTION that CAP did'nt 'dodge' the NON-FATAL bullet that hit his shoulder in Cap 25. He was PUSHING THE SECURITY ESCORT OUT OF THE LASER SIGHT'S LINE OF FIRE saving the guard, it's why he was shot. It WAS the 3 point blank shots from (SPOILER!!) his girlfriend that 'did him in'. AND he was transported in time while his body stood behind(don't ask me to explain it). Normally if CAP was (and has been before) shot,his body heals better than most...cept 4Wolverine.
So he died doing what he does best BEING A SELFLESS HERO!
He has been pronounced dead (more than) once before and came back to life; off the hospital table(cap and Falcon #14)/out of an Ice Block/as a character(LOL)....

The part that made me realize this was gonna be a jobber situation was when he mentioned Cap being too fast. NO WAY Cap is too fast for Spidey to react to. Likewise Spidey's strong enough to break a man's wrist from flexing his muscles when they punch him, and Cap is only a bit above peak human strength, so he shouldn't have done any real damage. Anyone is aware that the Cap's perfect human body also include the brain (learning, memory, behaviors) ? That is why his skills has reached the top and could easily match and beat Wolverine for example (a guy with over a hundred years experience). That is enough handicap for superhuman resources. Spider sense? the comic is clear: SP did exactly what Cap wanted. I'm not saying it's a clear victory, but Cap can defeat Spidey.

Tough fight to judge. Captain America is supposed to be the best hand to hand fighter in the marvel universe. He has maximum human everything but not superhuman. His shield is indestructable and he has perfect aim. Spiderman has superhuman agility strength and balance but his webs orignally are made by peter parker. I think the shield would be stronger than the webs and Spiderman could only win in a stick and move type fashion......IMO of course
Yeah, but it's not about if he can lift un 25, 30 or 40 tons. At that time, it was about fighting fist to fist experience, and in that respect, Captn. America has got loads. Spider-man himself recognises it, since he can't take him man-to-man.. so he admits that he needs to fight as a spider, using all he's got and all.. This has to be one of the best fights in the Civil War series but it was quite sad for spider-man..
Since he says that all his life he wanted to get the respect of people like the captain.. and at that moment, when he offers him to join the avengers so he could fight against ironman team, he feels very sad since now that he finally has gained his respect, he has to lose it once and for all..

If you read the civil war comics capt. America never repeats his moves he improvises all the time, which makes him unpredictable with his tactics, but spiderman does have the upperhand in every physical way

He watches his opponents moves and determines their weaknesses and what they tend to do so he's almost always able to predict what theyre gunna do, Thats why he's so great. Captain America is just maxed out in terms of physical human developmemt, he is no superhuman and has no powers. He is just a maxed out man with an indestructible shield. Spider man wins in terms of physical, and is smarter, and far more experiened in terms of fighting those significantly stronger than him. Usually using just his cunning intellect, Capt America is great but loses to Spidey, this is of course a comic and Capt America is a symbol of our country so he wins by Script.
Spider-Man has superhuman strength,speed,durability,agility,coordination,equlibrium, an IQ of 250,webbing,spider senses,enhanced body systems, giving him a healing factor,perfect vision, and flexibility beyond the norm, his attraction to surfaces ability.

Caps a better fighter and that counts for something; He isn't an avenger for nothin either, he can hold his own against lots of opponents and doesn't give up easily. Spiderman is no pushover but his fighting skills lack compared to cap's and come on, isn't the better fighter going to win the fight. I know spiderman outstrengths cap and outspeeds him but that doesn't make him the winner. I think with all that experience on his side cap would win and I like spiderman and cap both. Close though.

Anyone is aware that the Cap's perfect human body also include the brain (learning, memory, behaviors) ? That is why his skills has reached the top and could easily match and beat Wolverine for example (a guy with over a hundred years experience). That is enough handicap for superhuman resources. Spider sense? the comic is clear: SP did exactly what Cap wanted. I'm not saying it's a clear victory, but Cap can defeat Spidey.

@PAREDIUXX perhaps your argument would be valid if cap. was hit in places like the back or something and still quite from a distance like 4-5 meters, but if was hit in the head by a distance of 2-3 meters doubt seriously that would survive, but spiderman dodge the bullet in the moment when trigger is pressed.Futhermore the knowledge in the martial arts of cap. can do nothing against the agility of spiderman.

America will forget to bring his shield. It's the same thing if Spidey doesn't have his web slingers. Capt.'s shield is one of his trademarks. If they were, there would be an entire army of super-soldiers. There was nothing else that was created to match the super serum especially what ever Spidey has in him. Tough fight to judge. Captain America is supposed to be the best hand to hand fighter in the marvel universe. He has maximum human everything but not superhuman. His shield is indestructable and he has perfect aim. Spiderman has superhuman agility strength and balance but his webs orignally are made by peter parker. I think the shield would be stronger than the webs and Spiderman could only win in a stick and move type fashion......IMO of course

Yeah, but it's not about if he can lift un 25, 30 or 40 tons. At that time, it was about fighting fist to fist experience, and in that respect, Captn. America has got loads. Spider-man himself recognises it, since he can't take him man-to-man.. so he admits that he needs to fight as a spider, using all he's got and all.. This has to be one of the best fights in the Civil War series but it was quite sad for spider-man..

Captain America is just maxed out in terms of physical human developmemt, he is no superhuman and has no powers. He is just a maxed out man with an indestructible shield. Spider man wins in terms of physical, and is smarter, and far more experiened in terms of fighting those significantly stronger than him. Usually using just his cunning intellect, Capt America is great but loses to Spidey, this is of course a comic and Capt America is a symbol of our country so he wins by Script.
