Are you running Plan9 in a vm? I was thinking about making a Beowulf cluster and was wondering if plan9 would be a suitable OS of choice. I want to have three nodes: one NAS, one LAMP server, and another node to simply distribute the load on the other nodes.
The video was made using a VMWare installed copy of plan9.
Plan9 works well for clustering. Some people run it on the BlueGene supercomputer. You should ask your question on the 9fans mailing list for a better response.
Your usage of button 1, 2, and 3 might confuse people who are used to the middle button being called mouse3.
