I make candles and I have been working on my carving skills. People like her make it look so easy but it is very hard to do. The few I have made cooled before I was finished so they are only half carved.

This is a beautiful candle. You are very talented!

@maryamubarak ........Make sure that you are using " dipping wax ", it is wax that is specifically made for this procedure, it has a long set time which allows time enough to carve it.

Wouldn't it be better if you made a circular indent, or 'well' or some sort on the top, so that when/if it was lit, the wax wouldn't drip over the sides? Just an idea... she is very good.

Should melt the bottom on a pan or something, because even with a knife, it isnt going to be perfectly flat..... just a tip

I have a question , I really want to do this but I need to know what the additive is in the outer wax to make it pliable and flexible , and where is it that I can get the tools and wax to do this stuff, I'm in Ontario Canada so I need either a store close to me , or somewhere that I can purchase it online . hopefully someone can help me out here. thanks .
