  • im 16 years, i workout 5 days a week doing this: 5sets 5x wide pull ups, 5 sets 5x biceps pull ups, 5 sets 20x crunches, then 2sets 5x 65kg bench press (shoulder wide grip) , after that 3sets 5x 75kg bench press (shoulder wide grip) , and 5sets 5x shoulder wide push ups. I don't train legs! I do this program every 5days, am i overtraining?

  • @fenderAddict93 you should probably be working out a lil more intensely if you feel no fatigue in ur muscles the day after. basically the point is to break down the muscle group so it can rebuild itself bigger and stronger.

  • But if there's no pain the next day after having a workout yesterday, would it be okay to workout again?

  • her arms are so cool.

  • why do ppl say to rest for a full week between same muscle groups

  • He looks like he's on a mission!!

  • I AGREE....LOOKS LIKE THIS GUY IS GETTING PREPARED FOR SOME TYPE OF BATTLE....VERY CONFRONTATIONAL...PROBABLY B/C WHEN THEY TALK TO EACH OTHER THERE NOT LOOKING AT THE CAMERA....LOL

  • mon 45 upper

    tue 45 lower

    wed 45 upper

    thur 45 lower

    fri rest

    sat 45 upper 15 lower

    sun rest

    is that okay

  • random question. How many ex addicts are in your gym? you know the type, they put down the drugs and pick up the roids

  • he sounds angry at me T_T i wont over train sir

  • It's the opposite -- smaller muscles recover faster than larger muscle groups.

  • @123gwf THAT IS CORRECT AND IT SHOWS HOW MUCH KNOWLEDGE THIS GUY TRULY HAS- NOT MUCH!

  • Do not workout muscle groups,it is obsolete.Your own body is all u need to train,no weights or funny machines,(with the exception to kettlebells....)this way you will be doing full body and you will adapt and grow proportianally. However overtraining can occur with this method to,but at least you are assuming natural posture, which decrease injury risk,a factor that rises very high in these phases.

  • gosh I can't help it, the first thing I though when I saw this video was how it would be to fuck that chick

  • chill bro...chill

  • Hahahaha... This guy is awesome - he should be doing parodies... :D

  • Robert DeNiro

  • i never see a top bodybuilder to speak about overtraining

  • they guy is on steroids...and he is still small

  • smaller muscle groups heal faster thern bigger muscle groups, legs take up to 6 days to recover

  • i do each of my workouts (chest and back, shoulders biceps and triceps, legs) twice a week. chest and back monday and thursday, shoulders biceps and triceps tuesday and friday, and legs wednesday and saturday. i also do abs 3 days a week and follow every workout with an hour of cardio. does anyone think im overtraining? ive plateaud a little, but i think it may just be due to the same workouts. any advice is welcome. thanks.

  • @shroyerdave [Sorry my English is not very good] You do each muscle twice a week. Ok but what's "your level" (beginner, intermediate, advanced)? What do you do during your workout? How many sets, reps? You can train full body 2-3 times a week or each muscle one big time once a week without overtraining... It's all about weekly "volume" (sets*reps). Exemple: you can do some push ups sessions each day but definitely not a full chest killer workout ! ;-)

  • How the fuck can you have "negative gains", stupid twat.

  • @gazthefunky39 you will get smaller as ur hormone levels will get fucked up, and that stupid twat cuold probably catapult ur ass 30 yards

  • @legend2kill Oh dear we have another stupid twat, negative is negative ok? Gains are positve, ok? You can't have a negative positive. Like for example growing a bald head, get it stupid twat? And no he couldn't launch me. By hormones you mean higher levels of cortisol but the major thing is the lack of recovery time. I know what over training this was in my recomemnded list.

  • @gazthefunky39 I guess he meant no gains. Over training in the worst case scenario will make ur muscles smaller.

  • @TheGIMP2k Yeah, I know. Just very bad grammar. Not explaining things very well, he means your muscles will begin to suffer from atrophy. The opposite of hypertrophy which you want.

  • Got the answers I needed pretty much, thank you! One question, I do freerunning, and sometimes ill go out freerunning all day, come home and workout for an hour, is this a bad thing to do? because a friend of mine told me that apparently your body will start eating at the muscle for energy? And should I have lifting days, separate from my outside activities days such as freerunning?

  • jersey shore?!

  • I'd workout her chest, ass, jaw muscles, and vagina muscles ;)

  • intense for no reason........

  • he was holding his breath- in. in the begging lol :d

  • @CistRonaldo7 Lolz.. Ya I also notice that after I saw your comment.

  • Why is this interview so intense?

  • @clarkallard roidzz ;) haha

  • @clarkallard

    cos they are fuck buddy

  • @clarkallard

ok so you asking why the interview is so intense?

it's bcuz there is more testosterone than brain

  • Guys, he said as a "general rule of thumb". It also depends if you are training until failure, meaning that you are training the muscle group until you can no longer lift anything with it. If you are training the muscle group until that point, you may need a longer recover period for that muscle group than 2 days. Take his advice with a grain of salt.

  • she has a nice chest

  • shes fucking hot

  • 48hrs will not even give the muscle a chance to recuperate....let alone grow from the workout....a week is more like it....

  • I love watching videos made by retards FOR retards deet deee deeeeeeeee......okay i think i get it 48 hrs 48hrs 48hrs.....hmmmm sounds about right........people are just stupid lol......love spamming videos like this lol.....oh hey I just leg pressed 1000 lbs deep and strict the other night with controlled form for reps(like 7)...hows that.....is that overtraining? lol No i'm not on juice either :)

    Inclined Dumbell Press/flyes 4-5 sets 8-10 reps

BArbell Bench Pess 4-5 sets 6-8 reps

Dumbell press or flyes 4-5 sets 8-10 reps

Decline Barbell Press 4-5 sets 6-8 reps

Decline Dumbell flyes 4-5 sets 8-10 reps

    Pull over - to failure

Thats for my chest.. AM I OVER TRAINING?? Pls i need an answer.. tnx

  • @gleof06 yes i believe u are overtraining, i had almost the SAME exact routine as u, everything i did on the bench i would do as a dumbell press, my solution was to split them in 2, do inclide barbell, flat bench press, and decline barbell ONLY on one chest workout, and on the next chest workout hit all the same oens just with the dumbells this time, so incldine dumbell press, flat dumbell press and decline dumbell press on anohter chest day,, dont do all 6 on 1 day thats too much for sure

  • @gleof06 is this a real question?? come on dummy if ur not overtraining what is. Jay cutler would overtrain on that workout.

  • less is more

  • my regiman is back/bis, chest and tris, delt/traps/ legs with ab workouts every 3 days, basically a 3 on one off, i have noticed that my muscles have a prolonged DOMS, do you think that i am overtraining?

  • your over training, cause when you do your back your pulling with your biceps, so your using biceps and back, and thehn aftewr your back exersises, when you do your biceps, the muscle fibires are allready ripped, so you will be just over training them, best workout rotein is what i do :) and it works, monday chest biceps, so its all fresh, tuesday legs triceps wed back shoulders thursday only chest, chesr recovers the quickest, and in everyday life you never use you chest

  • I work out 5 times a week and i see results oh and btw i work out 2-3 hours

  • and every exerises i diod i did about 4 sets on small muscles and on big muscles i did about 5 sets per exersise, i thought more the better but thats not true.. the less the better and the faster you will grow. then you got time to heal and get biger b4 you workout again. and you can only make about a pound of muscle each month so in 1 year you will gain about 12 pounds which is about 6 kilos, i know its not much but im talking about real muscle not fat or food or water..

  • Comment removed

  • @mnoy91 six kilos in a year sounds very optimistic.

i've been working out for 2 years 3 times a week about an hour and a half each time, and i've only gained about 3 maybe 4 kilos of muscle (just an estimate of mine. I didn't really measure it so maybe it's a little more).

however it may be because i wasn't eating properly and not pushing myself enough during the excersizes.

i'm also very skinny by nature so maybe it's just harder for me to gain muscles than other people

  • oh and befour i met joe, i was over training, lets say i do chest and triceps on one day, like what i did, i was over training, cause when i do chest my triceps are already working, so when its time to hit my triceps the muscle tissue is already broken so if i workout my triceps it will over train, and you will lose strength, and when i did back and biceps together i was over training, i used to do 4 exercises for biceps and then i did back i did like more then 5 exercises. man that sucked

  • oh and hes not on any drugs he got heaps of druged tests :) i love that guy he helpt me alot, and befour i met him i was overtraining, i was doing my muscle once a week, but i8 was doing chest and tricep on one day and then i was doing back biceps, etc, but thats way over working the muscle, the tissue is all readdy broken down, so what i was doing was overtraining, and lets just say i work my chest when i go to my triceps they allready stufed, then i over train them

  • omg that woman is hot as fuck!! i wish she was my workout partner! hahaha

  • i thought you work out your muscle onces a week

  • @mnoy91 at least 5 days between chest if your going heavy. same with back, legs, shoulders, ect. this dude looks (and sounds) like he is on meth.

  • @microdike hey na man haven't you heard of him? hes got alot of experience hes now around 60, and in 1982 he was mr universe and al natural :) and its working for me.. every muscle once a week and chest twice
