The Witch is my favorite character and the only one to do her part seems to be Bernadette Peters and a very talented woman who did a revival and put a spin on the character for several songs. The arc of learning she goes through is perhaps more than that of many of the other characters simply because she seems unable to understand her daughter's motives and why she won't listen.
