The A340-500 is the handsomest of the A340s. The larger diameter RRs really rectify the skinny lopsided look imparted by the small barrelled CFMs.

@trent8002003 the A340-500 is a great aircraft, but I prefer the A340-600. It looks disproportioned, and is so uncannily long, i just love it!

Actually, it's Singapore-Newark. The distance is longer than SIN-LAX but the flight time is about the same because of the weight the flight route is planned.
