@smileydm66 I agree with you that the judges sugarcoat they're comments too much....they really don't give that many negative reviews even when they should (i still think lauren alaina is a great singer though) but you have to remember most of the contestants are in their 20s, lauren is only 16. It's hard to take criticism at 16 so i think that's why her reaction was the way it was and they tried to say it nicer b/c she's so young

True...no offense or anything...but this goes to show that Idol votes are dominated by hormonal teenagers who just want to see the best looking person win. It explains why Scott and James made it into the top 4, they were the best looking of the bunch (James has a pretty good voice too). But you cant deny, Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams, and Pia Toscano were, by far, the best vocalists of them all (they had much more range, better pitch, and were much more unique).

if you read the forum comments, critics, and youtube comments, people just think she´s good but not the best, like her "fans" repeat over and over. Is funny how they call boring to the other AI contestants when the biggest boring is Lauren. Also, Do you notice how overrated by the judges is she? Since her audition, Alaine advanced over much better contestants than her.

@smileydm66 I agree with you that the judges sugarcoat they're comments too much....they really don't give that many negative reviews even when they should (i still think lauren alaina is a great singer though) but you have to remember most of the contestants are in their 20s, lauren is only 16. It's hard to take criticism at 16 so i think that's why her reaction was the way it was and they tried to say it nicer b/c she's so young

they need to be REAL judges and not sugarcoat and be apologetic when they saw she was so affected by one little comment that steven made. and she just needs to be able to take the criticism cuz this wasn't a good performance. she still has a LONG way to go.

True...no offense or anything...but this goes to show that Idol votes are dominated by hormonal teenagers who just want to see the best looking person win. It explains why Scott and James made it into the top 4, they were the best looking of the bunch (James has a pretty good voice too). But you cant deny, Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams, and Pia Toscano were, by far, the best vocalists of them all (they had much more range, better pitch, and were much more unique).

I cant say the votes are only from little girls/little guys who r just lookin 4 a pretty face/cute guy to vote for. I know ALOT of people who are either in there 20's or married that vote there butts off 4 the person they like the most. This is opinion votes & whoever gets the most votes gets to stay....To be honest I NEVER liked Pia or Casey. James was great but I didnt vote 4 him.... :)

She is also the fusion of AI alumni and top recording artists Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. who had million album sales. I think if Simon Cowell still be one of the 3 judges, her favorite is Alaina and judge others badly like the early previous seasons.
