Nissan 350z 06 Vs Honda Accord 06 racing the streets of LA !!!

I was only looking at buying a 350z till I checked out consumer reports then I switched to only looking at Hondas. Just got an 04 Accord Coupe 3.0 v6 and overall it's very nice. Still like the power and looks of 350z better though.

Get over it people. An accord and a 350z is in a whole different class. A 350z is a nice sports car, obviously not the best, but it's good for the price. An Accord is a economical car.. It's not meant to go around a track (I'm not talking about a straight drag strip, I'm talking about circuits) Anyways, the V6 Accord COUPE 6 speed Manual is FAST for what it is in a straight line, but it can NEVER ever beat a 350z in a curvy road. Again, 350z - Sports car, Accord - Economical family car w/ power

Yes the z is trash. Costs about 10,000 more dollars and is not that much faster, about 1,500 dollars invested in the accord and the z will get owned everytime...

I have the same accord, it's funny how it somewhat kept up with the Z that has 60 more hp than it. That's Honda for you, now imagine if the accord had 300hp the Z would be looking at the tail lights.

I saw your comment before you removed it. Nissans aren't 'tanks'. There is more to it then power to weight ratio, a lot of engineering goes into the cars obviously.. Just look at stock 1/4 mile times for accords vs 350'z.. accords are nowere near the same class as 350s. The Honda that will give a 350z a good run is the S2000, which will of course, destroy an accord too.

lol bullshit. Accords run 15.2-16 seconds stock in the 1/4 mile.. That's a full second or more slower then both the s2000 and the 350z haha... gimme a break, look up 1/4 speeds on dragtimes and get your own facts straight... sup with these honda lovers dreaming that their cars could ever hang with real sports cars? you buy an accord to take your family to disneyland, if you want to go fast buy a real sports car.

you are WAY off. A stock auto 03+ Accord V6 runs low 15's best is 14.9. A stock 6MT runs 14.4 on the average best of 14.2 which has been proven by timeslips. You need to look up the times.

The 4cyl runs high 15's and low 16's.

The 6 speed runs mid to high 14's. There's a video of a 6 speed accord beating an s2000. Username is Imnotmatt or something like that. Check it out.

@c3tr4 ya well this accord is pretty damn nice looking compared to the tacky looking nissan, which is pretty nice too but common, this video clearly shows how little faster the 350z is than an accord 6 speed which i would not take my family to disneyland in, maybe the 4 cylinder 4 door you dumb ass. @downdere The 350z looks "Tacky"?. You're talking about one of the best looking cars on the street, praised by countless magazines/people. The Accord is a Grocery getter.  It's slow with 1 person, you stick yer fat family in it and it's even worse. It's not a sports car, it's nowere near in the same class as a Z and anyone trying to pretend it is needs a reality check. The Z driver in this video is fail, no stock Accord could ever keep up with a 350z period.

@downdere I'm not bashing the Accord any more then you are the 350z, I'm just stating the facts. Yes, the Honda didn't lose by much but it's not because of the card it's because of the dipshit Z driver. If an assclown driving a ferarri loses to a miata does that mean a miata is almost as fast as a ferarri? No, it just means the driver sucked. The 350z Engine is good for at least 200,000 miles, that's quality in a sports car.

I dont see how this is fair? The Accord has a passenger in 2 of the rounds! Even with less Hp and a passenger the accord did very well in the first round. Now do this fairly without a passenger and I bet the outcome will be different.
