with brainwave analysis science has discovered that when the eyes are closed the brain becomes more active, it changes to a higher frequency wave pattern. what this means exactly i do not know, but i can assume that it has to do with the subconscious, which is the subliminal part of the mind. also it seems to mean that the sublime mind has like a higher "pick up rate" if you will. so it catches what the conscious mind cannot, it sees between the frames.

if you consciously perceive what was intended by an artist to be subliminal than you bring forth your sublime mind which makes the message liminal. bringing the subconscious mind into awareness is actually a Buddhist meditation. for some people this maybe as dangerous a practice as taking LSD. for others it is MIND CONTROL, meaning total control over ones OWN mind and therefore not allowing emotions/subconscious ques to effect your true will.
