This is freaking amazing!! I can't stop laughing. xD I loved the Fortinbras fangirls. Nice lines from Hamlet in Act III, scene I at 1:21 "To be or not to be: that is the question." I'm so glad you cut out the rest of that worthless monologue!
@Alyffa "that worthless monologue"? i learned that monologue because i have to perform it for my school (fine arts-theatre) and i can say that it is a great one..it's about life and all the troubles that come with it and how tempting is for someone to kill himself and get free..but people fear of death and the unknown so they keep on living their tiring lives.. trust me i'm not saying all that stuff cause it's "hamlet" and i've read a LOT of monologues so far but it's trully great
@chrisoulicius My mistake. Upon further thought, I agree that it does have value. I just didn't enjoy watching about half a dozen performances of it in my AP English class, all in succession. Thanks for giving me a new perspective. :)
(By the way, this is all in earnest; If it sounds sarcastic, that's not what I intended.)
@Alyffa oh yes i totally get your point. that happens quite often when you deal with theatre.. :) you see things over and over and you get bored..i'm actually very glad that you took my comment like that..i wasn't trying to be the "wise girl" or something but i made a great research on that monologue cause i have to say it in english -i'm greek- and i was chosen cause i can do the british accent :P and while searching for the meaning so i could get the feeling, i got thrilled by the words .. :)
@ybrik222 As chrisoulicious already made painfully clear, the soliloquy isn't worthless. Now let's all stop trying to start a flaming contest, shall we?
@ERiNxOPPEL oh wow it is hahah thank you so much. I was just checking out the other Night OST also and i realize most of them are just a different version of one song. Thank you haha.
@thejonas928 I actually wanted to do a "Macbeth in 3 Minutes" animation this past summer, but I was so busy that I didn't have the time. Might still do it one of these days.
We read the play, but the version without Fortinbras, and my teacher told us that there was another version of the play, but with Fortinbras in it and I was like, "his name is four tin bras?" and the entire class laughed for at least a minute
Nice! Imagined Mel Gibson or Laurence Olivier in those significant scenes.
