It got mixed reviews and i don't know enough of sedgwick or warhol to be a fair judge of the bad reviews but from the interviews of edie i've seen miller did such a good acting job i'm kinda mad she didn't get nominated for anything.

The plot itself it's suppoused to be wrong, that things didn't happen that way since it potraits Andy Warhol like a bitch (eventhough I'm pretty sure he kinda was, lol) but the acting was excellent, specially from Guy Pearce and Sienna Miller, is a very touching movie, I liked it

The movie doesn't explore any of its characters. It doesn't look to see if there was any good in any of Warhol's friends, including EDIE. The real Edie was flawed but very lovable. People were devoted to her, and there must have been a reason. Sienna is like Teenage Victim # 3 in a cheesy horror movie. It's gross to watch, but you don't care about her.

I respect the fact the Lou Reed did not like the script/movie--but it seems that Reed does not like anything that does not glorify/deify Warhol. If you see the film, you will also discover that Bob Dylan was never once implicated in the downfall of Edie Sedgewick. Warhol seemed to bring a lot of people down--he ssemed to glorify the "low-life"----especially drug abuse and prostitution.

Sienna and Edie could be sisters! Great physical similarities but I've never been very impressed with Sienna's acting for some reason. Granted, I haven't seen too many of her films. Also, I think it's strange that they cast Hayden Christensen to play the Bob Dylan type character....mainly because Hayden is reealllyyy attractive and I never have thought Bob really was.

thats not true.. factory's girl director auditioned a lot of actors for sienna miller's role but when he auditioned sienna he fall in love with her and told the producers that she was the perfect actor for the role :)
