That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. I have been to Khersones but we stayed on the top part of the hill. Not the actual beach part below. Beautiful place. Might be going again in a few weeks. :)

True - that was not very accurate of me. But this was where King Volodymyr converted, and it was an Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine) town.
