Yeah well, in the case of abortion, there should be the freedom of choice. Inhibiting for otherwise purpose does more harm then good. It will result in even more over crowded adoption agencies, black market abortion, and mothers that are mentally and financially unprepared for children which will often result in neglect or abuse.

I agree with you. The abortion debate is "confounding." It's a no-brainer that society should be Pro-Choice.

I'm curious how you think repugnancy bias may be limiting your cause selection, and may be warping your goals away from a consequentialist approach to progessivism. Also, how do you grapple in a real way with progressivism, status construction, and the theatrics of ACLU interacting with "opponents" -think Erving Goffman for this last one. How do you prevent the ACLU from being a gentrification of the moral highground?
