  • 8th point: when you said "another big misrepresentation" at 7:06 min in. how so? because he showed one dried up orchard? Drive around here and see how many there are. the only one misrepresenting is YOU and this is deploreable, and i cant believe you are saying these things. If anyone in my town heard you say this, you wouldnt make it out unhurt.

  • 7th point: who cares if he said all the water. to the people around where i live, it might as well be all the water, you are making yourself and who ever is sponsoring you look so fucking stupid.

  • 6th point: Huron is like 20 minutes away from where i live and i am very familiar with that town. even if there is only 200 people in the audience, that is the entire town!!!! You dumb shit. if there is more, that means that people traveled, quite a distance because Huron is in the middle of no where, which makes hannity's arguement that much stronger

  • 5th point: mendota is pretty far from here but if you have ever been there you would know that it is largely reliant on farm work and no water means no jobs. do you not realize that anything over 10 percent is a huge problem you stupid fuck.

    5th post of many

  • 4th point: 1/3 of the water for the entire san Joaquin valley is a HUGE amount. you said it yourself you idiot, the valley is the nut basket of the world. Also, you fail to mention the amount of dairies there are in this area and how much water is need for feeding the various animals raised here. i think there are more alfalfa feilds here than anything else that are used for cow feed. this is making more and more pissed off.

    4th comment of many

  • 3rd point: the delta smelt was the reason given to us. The other aquatic animals you named are simply the animals that now rely on, among other animals, the delta smelt as a food source. you fail to mention that smelt is not even indigenous to america, it is an oriental bottom feeder that was inadvertently transported here by ships. This is why we are pissed, get YOUR facts straight.

    3rd post of many

  • second point: I have lived here my whole life, i used to see feilds everywhere i went. Now they are few and far between. there are many old feilds i see on a daily basis that are now dust with signs that read congress created dust bowl. Not only that i know many, many farming families that have had to move and shut down operations because of the lack of water... live here for a god damn year and see for yourself. this is real reporting, you just hate him because he has opposing views.

  • ok i live in lemoore california, look it up on a map, its a small farming area and i have to deal with this on a daily basis.

point one: when you correct hannity when he said bread basket of america, we call it that all the time. the san jaquin valley may not be the palce where bread is made, but we have huge, huge orcords, dairies and general farming throughout the entire valley. You are misconstruing hannity and you are doing it purposely

This is the first of many comments i will be leaving

  • omg, this response SO misses the point! You guys really are fucking nuts

  • btokars, thank you for taking your time to explain your side of California's water crisis and what it's done to the salmon and the fishermen.

There truly is way more to the story. But the extreme voices are the loudest, unfortunately.

  • (con'td from below)

I don't understand why there can't be a better compromise than parching land, starving people, halting an economy to save some fish.

There must be more to this story. But you don't seem capable of winning the debate if you're going to quibble over "nuts and fruits" vs. "breadbasket".

  • Lyod Carter is an idiot. He got kicked off of the last enviromental board he was on because of comments he made about valley farm workers. The guy had the audacity to say on live tv that "all farm workers children end up as gangsters in the streets". The guy is anti-farming, just like Miller and Pelosi.

If I had more time, Id love to do a point by point break down of this video response, but unlike enviros out there I have a job, I grow food for the same people who are cauisng these problems

  • A worker who makes $400 a week loses his job. So, from that job loss......many other jobs are lost.

The problem is the CA aquaduct....that transports water from Central Valley areas to LA. IF the politicians hadn't pushed and got this sneaky tactic done....this area WOULD have their water.

  • Hey Tan-2, environmental tyranny is why the Valley is drying up.Politicians wanting votes from extremist groups is why there is no water.Politician-Caused DUSTBOWL!!!

  • MediaWatch and the Fresno Bee are Democrat party puppets---The party of gays, felons ,welfare recipients ,govt.over-regulation, muslims, high taxes, big government, killing babies, etc. NUFF SAID!

  • Fuck you and your delta smelt.

  • Fuck you and your delta smelt.

  • thats only becouse you don't have your own show
