Yo I hunt in New York and last time I was out we shot our limit within an hour. We don't flag thought and we missed a lot of larger flocks. Do u think we should? Please help

@adrenalinejunkie444 Some days we flag and other days we dont. If we are on the "X" we dont do much flagging sometimes if any. If you are going to traffic geese like we were here, flagging is a must. 9 times out of 10 a flag is a great tool

Try spreading your decoys out more.. the birds are interested from a far but as there gettin closer it looks like a black hole in the field.... family groups with decoys 6-10 feet apart.  Just an idea.

@gordanalex they're not kites, they're flags, thus they were flagging. kinda works the same way as a kite but you basically just use it to get the attention of birds off in the distance. I also use mine to line birds up a little flick of the flag as they're approaching sometimes works if they're veering off the centerline.

You can shoot geese higher with black cloud but thats about it if you are quiet and have a good spread the geese will lock in and you wont have to sky blast

To be honest it is totally personal preference. I love the SBE 2 and I think the Beretta is heavier and more bulky. Just my opinion. Both are great guns!

black cloud has cut the cripple rate way down in my blind. shoot a piece of plywood with steel shot, then shoot another piece with the same size black cloud shot. turn the plywood over and then you tell me if you think its worth it

Some people might not think Black Cloud is worth the money. I use Win/Experts and love those shells. Many times though I have geese that are not always 100 percent dead. Black cloud many times has kept me from having to chase geese. Knocks em dead
