ahh really nice tunes repect, but not mixed,. if anyone wants 9 x 3 hour mixes of 1987-1989 house contact me, or look for my aka "warehouse89" on soul;seek
@Outerghost sorry pal but you missed out big time musically fashion wise and on the terraces you missed the falklands war espana 82 and the whole casual scene clothes wise, nevermind enjoy your youth.
glad ive found this it takes me back to when i was 17,18 i was so into acid house, hip house but still into house music and i think trance was probably the biggest thing to hit the scene since acid hope something else comes along before im 50!
I am 23 and I have to admit I get a bit jealous when I hear what young people in the 80s and 90s got to dance to, compared to the mindless meaningless shit were all expected to swallow eagerly these days. Its not fair!!! Someone please invent a time machine!
@soundseeker63 i have invented a time machine, i play all the oldskool tunes every weekend from a live internet radio station in my room message me for times and days am live and i will pass u the link, keep it real
@soundseeker63 You'd love being back from the time period '87-'95. Hip hop, freestyle, and house/dance music were all underground and raw for most of that period. Even the stuff that came above ground weren't all that bad!
@TheTrancemaster90 TO my opinion, artists in the late 80's and 90's already had an incredible amount of computer-generated effects under their fingers, but just knew 400 % better that less is more...
Very good time pass, now club are a hideout of violent druggy people without controlls to is faulth of mafia i think becouse they buy all big clubs for sale xtc cocaine e drug first this kind of drug was not controlled by mafia to the quality is crap sale poison.
yeah these the tunes i remember from the pirates. fucking quality. "get up, get out" is the tune and underneath it is "daddy, Daddy" very weird but way ahead of its time. Anybody remember Debbie Malone singing at the freedom to party rally and two guys beatboxing along to it and the cops trying to stop coz they thought a dj was spinning tunes, which wasnt aloud on Nelsons column, but then having to back off when it was explained to em that it was beatboxing and a live singer?
I need to know the tune "What planet are you from ? Planet XYZ! Who do you know ? No-one, take a trip with me" please help me out on this one...Thanks.
nice one very early house fuckin tune i had a mix tape with this on it got played to death runaway girl love to hear a new house version with the same vocals wicked
Great memories, great tracks

Hi does anyone remember a song by this description:
It was a sort of house/drum and base tune from around 1989,early 1990s
A woman singing with these sort of fragments:
"waking up.." "Im only me, im sure that you can see, thats all that i can be"
"im trying to move around, just move your body 'round"
Thanks

Too bad I was a bit too young to young to have partied to those tunes.
Was born in 1984 so I was around 4 years old when 80's turned into 90's.
But I grew up in the 90's, those where the golden days for me.
These tunes really take me back!
