Also, why can't you rescue a captured turtle until Stage 3? Why couldn't they let you do that in the first two stages? Every sidescroller with levels that I've played has an extra lives system. I guess they figured that the beginning players should be good enough to make it through the first two stages without losing a turtle.

What's worse is that it isn't an optional weapon you're trying to collect. It's something you need to progress in the game. The level design in this game makes me wonder whether or not they actually played this game themselves before they released it.

I was stuck on the missile part for I don't know how long. I didn't know until watching AVGN that you had to go all the way around and walk over the gap. The only reason I figured out what to do was because of my cousin's Nintendo Power. It showed me a much easier way to get up there. Stand directly under the edge of the platform you're trying to get to and jump straight up and you'll automatically get up there.

You can jump up through that gap from the bottom floor to get the super missiles. It involves perfect timing to pull it off. What you need to do is just press jump and let your turtle somersault in the air for about 3 seconds and only press left at the very last second before he falls back down again. This is much easier and quicker than walking across.

For anyone out there wondering, Barry Gordon is the voice of Donatello. The only other thing I remember him voicing was an evil Dinosaur scientist in an episode of Darkwing Duck (Stegmutt was his co worker).

I'd say Leonardo is my favorite. I just found dual katanas to be the most badass. My least favorite is Rapheal, because I don't find it to great to be fighting with mini pitchforks. He's great with them, but he could do just as well with any other weapon. But there aren't too many main ninja weapons out there.
