  • I love her hair!

  • mia is a cuttie :)

  • shes so adorable!

  • It was essentially the age difference that broke them up, of course, she having been served with divorce papers on the "Rosemary's Baby" set. I understand they remained close, though, and, after her VERY public breakup with Woody Allen some years later, Frank and Barbara Sinatra were there for her. That's class, baby.

  • nice A's mia. the ones she wrote on the board when signing sinatra lmao!!

  • @leahblashful What you mean "yuck" you idiot!

  • I didn't know he was married to Mia Farrow! She is so much younger than him, yuck!

  • @leahblashful Please get over that. Women mature faster than men and by the time you hit 40, most of you are over the hill while we're in our prime.

  • I love something Frank Jr., usually not a barrel of laughs, said about her: "If we survived Mia, we can survive anything."

  • I love her dress!

  • Kinda gross how Mia his wife was 5 years younger that his oldest daughter.

  • @madi1314

    Frank Sinatra was a god.

He probably would've got every girl he went after, any girl would've for sure married him.

I'm sixteen and even I would marry him!

  • @madi1314

Yes, but it was a different time with different social standards. Although it was a subject of much spectacle, even in those days, you have to remember that women in the 50s and early to mid 60s were still expected to marry quite early--many girls married right out of high school (18) or went to university in order to find a husband. If you weren't married by the time you were 25, you were practically considered an old maid.

  • What an odd couple! I remember reading that Mia chopped off her long golden locks in a fit of rage when Frankie didn't invite her to his yacht party. They married soon afterward.

  • @jackinla8

Actually, in Mia Farrow's memoir "What Falls Away" (which is an excellent read, by the way), she acknowledges these rumors, but explains that she cut her hair in order to avoid becoming too vain about her appearance. During the filming of Peyton Place, she received many letters from fans complimenting her looks, and due to her strict Catholic upbringing, she thought of pride in one's appearance as a sin. Frank actually loved her hair, which is why she kept it short for years.

  • @FindsLoveInAllThings If you watch the behind the scenes footage of Rosemary's Baby on here (look up "Roman and Mia) she seems like such a flighty, hippy chick. I mean really out there. And Frank seems like such a straight laced, macho, old school Italian. I mean, he was appealing to old people even back then- you had to be a total square to enjoy Sinatra back then. And Mia going on and on about peace and love in that clip and hippy dancing. So WHY did they get married. Seems so strange to me.

  • How long were they married? She seems way too sweet for him.

  • @justsailingalong

I think they were married for two years

  • That is very cute. ^_^

  • Frank Sinatra is a bit of an ego head.

  • they divorced before rosemarys baby. did she have short hair before the film aswell?

  • @phomiffy

They divorced BECAUSE of Rosemary's Baby. He wanted to be in his film "The Detective" but she chose to do Rosemary's Baby instead and Sinatra divorced her.

  • she must be something. think of the men she's bewitched: frank, andre previn and, of course, woody...

  • November 27, 1966

  • How do you go from Mia Farrow to Marilyn Monroe? Seems like different universes.

  • What year is this?

  • Hahaha "have you ever performed with Frank Sinatra" That is priceless

  • Mia Farrow took not one cent upon their divorce. They parted as friends and remained so until he died.

  • WHEN is this show coming back to t.v.? They showed it on the Game Show Network for quite awhile and then took it off. I WANT IT BACK!!!

  • @1Th1617 Well, it's back now! Saw it last night.

  • I think they looked very sweet together!! :)

  • The story is that the final straw in the marriage was when Mia refused to stay in California to act with Frank in the movie Tony Rome, instead she went to New York to make Rosemary's Baby. When she got back from New York, she was met by Sinatra's lawyer who served her with divorce papers.

  • @proken58 actually she was served divorce papers on the set of the movie.

  • This video is timeless! Franks presence on this show takes you back in time.

  • thanks for posting. Mia was one of the original actresses who adopted many children. People think Angelina is the first to do this - not so.

  • Mia looked so very young and fragile here.

  • That was great! I like that show

  • i cant belive sinatra was 30 years oldar than farrow

  • He was joking, vixenmusique.

  • I think he was just teasing her. I don't think he was treating her like a child at all. She looked so pretty -- and Frank looked great!

  • @ReneeDeborah Actually, I read in a biography that he resented her for making him feel old. They were definitely Hollywood's odd couple. He put out the great album September Of My Years while they were together.

  • Frank talks to Mia like she's his daughter. Kinky!

  • I never noticed it before but Mia Farrow has the Sinatra family "look", she could have been Nancy Sinatra's sister

  • I don't think she was.

  • Sinatra, Allen--and don't forget her second husband--Andre Previn. Classical conductor, composer, jazz musician, you name it. She attracted some highly talented neurotic people!!

  • Thank you very much for posting this wonderful episode Erika. It was great that Sinatra went on the panel after his mystery guest spot and I think he was very funny. Mia Farrow looks so beautiful here.

  • She should have signed in as "Mrs. MidLifeCrisis"

  • I thought it was sweet when she signed in as "Mia Sinatra"

  • This was so cute, and Mia was so skinny!

  • Well, any woman who can attract both Frank Sinatra and Woody Allen cannot be all bad.

Sinatra had just recently married Ms. Farrow, whose role as Alison McKenzie on the nighttime TV drama "Peyton Place " had made her major hot stuff.

ASIDE == I was aged 10 when this marriage took place, but I remember the news reports quite clearly. Stories about them appeared in the newspapers for weeks on end.

  • "I was aged 10 when this marriage took place."

    So was Mia Farrow!

  • @Gnillob802 HAHAHAHAHA!
