They thought he was already the best ever and the only man on the grid after his first season. Alonso will win more titles in his career than Hamilton. This interviewer perfectly shows how one-minded the British are about Hamilton. It's the first time in 20 years they have a pretty decent driver who can go fast for more than two laps on a row and immediately he's superman.
