I never knew that Kratos could use Guardian field in the PS2 version of this game. I thought that it was only available for him in Tales of Vesperia as a boss. Thank you very much for posting this. If you never posted this, I would have never found out!

Kratos > Zelos. Zelos has Divine Judgement, but both his mystic artes have harder conditions than Kratos' Shining Bind. Plus Kratos has Guardian field which is a quick healing and attacking arte. Some of Zelos' normal attacks can be executed faster, but Kratos covers more range, plus has overall higher Magic and Physical Attack power than Zelos. Though if you put them both as a T type, Zelos is better at stringing together combos, but as an S type, Kratos easily wins over.

@laharl95 From what I know, one of the requirements for using Shining Bind is to have the Judgment costume on. There is a video of the first Kratos boss using Shining Bind without the Judgment costume, though I haven't seen this in person. But yea, when controlling him you need to have it on.

And he doesn't really have a soft voice - it's deep and smokey and a contrast to Morin .. mhhh, I love Tachi's voice. It has a slightly erotic tone to it .. to me. Wait, why doesn't he say Gansaiken? (Lloyd does it for Shunraiken and such)

I agree, it's odd that both voices fit him, even though they're so different. I personally prefer Cam Clarke's voice, but that's probably because it was the first version I got to fall in love with.

I really like this exhibition, and it's darn nice that you even added the unison combos he can do. The Japanese version has more of those, doesn't it?

@LeanceHP I myself can't really decide which one I prefer more. They both have a strength in their voices that's hard to achieve, though Clarke is more direct with it. It's one of the few cases where I don't have a preference to either english or japanese actors. I applaud Clarke for sounding even stronger in the Vesperia cameo though.

And yea, Kratos has 4 of the 11 or so new Unisons.
