  • @khulik relax im not stupid as other poles saying a city which doesnt belong to a country say that it belong, and lies lies lies

  • @CavalryMillitia

Lies? Some ppl from LT says, that Poles are bad because.... but when I want arguments, the only argument is "II RP should gave Lithuania Wilno, because it was always Lithuanian city". Sorry, but this argument don't moves me.

  • @khulik i know, its inhuman to give back a great city.

  • @CavalryMillitia

Especially, when most of citizens are your countrymen and a country, which wants this city is an enemy.

  • @khulik thats madness

  • @CavalryMillitia

    THIS IS HISTORRRYYYYYYY!

    XD

  • @khulik and it was actuallly the polish goverment who was taking vilnius region

  • @CavalryMillitia

No, it was Żeligowski. Polish goverment didn't knew much about this, exept Piłsudski, which planned this and gave the plan to Żeligowski.

  • Great video! What is the name of the first song?

    Greetings from Holland!

  • Really well done!

  • Christianity was power. They still have a hard time with it. Christians are control addicts. Blah Blah. HOWEVER This video/rendering is FAnfuckingtastic! Viabestiae you are a great visualizer and choreographer. Prashem

  • LATVIA SMASH FUCKING TEUTONS!!!!

  • @sotonindeda it's lithuanians!!! Not Latvians

  • @Edviusss No it is Samogitians (Žemaičiai) and Semigalls (Žiemgaliai),Lietuviai anuomet nedalyvavo nei Saulės ,nei Durbės mūšiuose, taip pat jie nepagelbėjo broliams prūsams, nes Mindaugas buvo sudaręs su kryžiuočiais taikos sutartis.Gaila.

  • @sotonindeda it's Lithuanians!!! Not Latvians

  • @Edviusss ...oh yes... sorry.. on my language Latvians are Letonians and Lithuanians are Litvani, little mistake, but I know what was I thinking... Anyway I was thinking about people who have today's Belarus territory as a part of their empire, that means that I was thinking about Litvani (Lithuanians)...

  • what's the name of the first song?

  • crusaders... murders in the name of gay christen gott, shame on those betrayers..... smash christnianity,

  • супер!!!!!

  • I like 'Kauja pie Saules' song (Sun Battle). The Skyforger boys are mentioning Lithuanian Samogitians and their leader Ringaudas and our staunch brothers in this battle Semigalls twice in this wonderful song.Long live Latvia and Lithuania!

  • ordo teutonicorum!

  • Best total war video ever!

  • Lithuania is returning to it's old roots ! Paganism is here !

  • @kusys123 Really?

  • @edvinas246 Yes I saw pagan symbols on shops, banks and such (symbols like Svastika and others) and there's even a shrine to Perkūnas in Spain. :)

  • @kusys123 "Yes I saw pagan symbols .." the swashtika symbol has been around europe for many tens of centuries. Unfortunately hitler turned the symbol around ,, if it is rotating to the left it is a 'positive force'; if it is rotated to the right (eg hitler) it was a 'negative force'. What's your point? Paganism, from my understanding, is connected to the natural elements. Religion has disconnected that connection. By the way, one is never born into a religion .. it is a choice.

  • @40bcoots

swastia (turning both sides) is one of the oldest symbols in existance.

Just look how far in history it goes with India's culture.

  • @EdTheBadass ... true ... and into mesopotania

  • Excellent video. Thanks!

  • just can't get enough of this vid..

  • My estonian and lthuanian friends - I'm with u nay time and any day...

  • Omg Latvian music :)

  • i hate crusaders

  • Heres some facts of why Teutonics dont deserve any respect at all :

    - Teutonic Order never offered baptism to the people they conquered

    - Teutonic Order in fact tried to prevent Lithuania from becoming Christian, If Lithuania was baptised, Teutonic Order would not be able to gain any more lands and their orders existence would be at risk.

    - The Teutonic Order prevented Lithuanias rulers from co-operating with the Pope by stoping and arresting couriers on theire way delivering letters.

  • im so tired of people complaining about how evil crusaders was

i really like this video, it could be a movie i think

but all these people being so angry about something that happened hundreds of years ago... why?

  • @crispo05 if not for battle of tannaberg was to won ... there would be no lithuania or poland or russia

  • @crispo05 because its sad that humans could do that sort of thing to one another over religion, and people still have attitudes like that today or recently

for example, some greeks are still bitter against the turks...not directly because of the fall of Constantinople directly, but because there's still ethnic/religious persecution by the turks against the armenians/greeks IIRC. There were anti-greek/armenian riots in istanbul in the 50s which drove them out.

  • i hate one thing about kingdoms... that in the teutonic campaign there is no black sea

  • How dare people use the word Saracen on us that word was used by Crusaders U for one are not a Crusader sooo shut up

  • there should be an expansion of medieval 2 total war about rekonkista!! when the christians tried to defeat muslims in spain

  • @CavalryMillitia You mean the reconquista?

  • This mod "Lithuania mod - Baltic Crusades" is lame. I am from litguania and our ansesters never looked like this. we loked ten times sceryer and till mindaugas our first king we never fougth in large groups like teutonics. Ecept zalgiris when we beten teutonics for ever.

  • @anuliz You could atleast write more normaly, and at the same time your right and wrong, lithuanians were like greeks with theyre city states every one cared for themselves and only sometimes would they cooperate. There were scary people like samagotians and more organized and not as scary but better armored lithuanians from Trakai and near those regions. As for the fact that we didnt fought in large groups is not entirely true, when on a war march many lithuanian warlords would come together.

  • @Thereisonlywar Lietuva nei truputy nebuvo panasi y graikus.

  • Total WAR!! such a great game.

  • Poland is slavic and everybody knows you can never trust a slav

  • @kusys123 yes u can never trust slavs

    NEVAH !

  • @PivotVision a good slav is only a dead slav!

  • @CavalryMillitia yes i agree. A slav is royal till he gets power ... when he get's it hes a traitor

  • @PivotVision correct the same happened with lithuania - poland :( with the lublin union ,poles demanded lithuanian ukraine to be theirs and in the end they captured vilnius

  • @CavalryMillitia yes... look at Romania... it has no history ! they are un-noble slavs and still they have 4 times more land than the great Lithuania... Fuck those who stand in our way !

  • @PivotVision welll romania is ancieant dacia and yes they were beaten by slavs and they became slavs and yes they had no history just roman time history ps. lithuania has dufas neihbourgs like latvia was occupied by germans and they where small all the time but now they are only by 800 m2 smaller than lithuania

  • @CavalryMillitia I am Slav and I really like Lithuania! Why did you write such comment?

  • Go Lithuania !

  • lithuania plus lietuva plus estonia.

    They can beat Teutonic order.

    Hail Baltic lands

  • Baigu labi! kur es varet atrast pirmo dziesmu?

  • Was Ortwin von Stein real? I can't find ANY information on him, and being a Teutonic Grandmaster, you'd think he'd be listed somewhere.

  • @Carnage1235 No, It was just a random name from the Game. If you have any other questions about the crusades into the Baltics, ask away =3

I'll be heading to Lithuania in about a month though

  • @Premislavek Actually, Before Lithuania Union with Poland it grew rapidly into the east and south. The Union with Poland probably hurt more than helped since it led to various problems with Lithuania's nobility and the stability in the eastern provinces dur to their conversion to Catholicism.

  • :/ sorry if you already answered in a Baltic language but could I just know the song's name? Also bad move befriending the Poles who have a horrible military tradition and history(sorry Polish people however I have a ton of family who are polish so I can sort of get on them)should have turned orthodox and allied with Novgorod/Smolensk

  • @JohhnyIRA

Horrible you say? Well, in 1920 Poles kicked Bolscheviks asses, whithout nobody's help. It's a horrible tradition.

I can see today bullshit like: 'history of Republic of Both Nations is Lithuanian victories and Polish failures".

Do you know, it is a lie, just as myth about "Lithuania-foe of Bolschevism". But the best thing is, that Lithuanians in RBN were Slavs, speaking Ruthenian, and today small Baltic state wants to steal all GDL history, which in fact belongs to... Belarus.

  • @khulik D: what the fuck does your teacher teach you, you slav?

  • @CavalryMillitia

My teacher teaches what he have to teach. About one year ago I liked Lithuania and Ukraine, thanks to polish propaganda. I changed my mind, when I saw comments such as yours.

P.S. I don't find "Slav" as an insult, you balt.

  • @khulik and who started the war? poland or lithuania? lithuania made the alliance with bolshewics because lithuania kicked theyre ass. and WHEN THEY WERE to retrieve VILNIUS THEY FOUND russian ARMY who was chasing the polish army, so dont wine here.

  • @CavalryMillitia

Poland started war with Red Russia, Lithuania started war with Poland.

  • @khulik I'm sorry man but the single victory against the Bolsheviks doesn't make up for hundreds of years of defeat. By no means I am saying that makes them lesser than say Lithuanians just after the: HRE, Austria, Prussia, Russia, Teutonic(though they eventually beat them) Mongols, Swedes and a handful of others constantly kicking their butts. The main reason they managed to survive was their land wasn't worth holding.

  • @JohhnyIRA

Hundreads of years of defeats? What period are you talking about?

  • @JohhnyIRA

"wasn't worth holding."-then why these nations wanted to conquer Poland? And I must remind you, that it was defeat of Republic of Both nations.

If you are talking like that, then Lithuania had hundreads of years of defeat too. Personaly I don't remember big battles won by Lithuania.

  • @khulik omg you dick lithuanian duchy was the biggest land in 14.century read something about that

  • @masterofumpalumpa

Biggest, but non-civilised with number of ppl similar to (territorialy) 3x smaller Poland and with only "light" army.

  • @khulik maybe not cvilized but they beated teutonic order bellarussians and tatars(mongolians) maybe they were monkeys but not loosers

  • @masterofumpalumpa

Without Poland they would never beat Teutons (they started running during battle of Tannenberg) and Kievan Rus was being attacked from all sights.

  • @khulik poland belonged to them or quite big part of it

  • @masterofumpalumpa

Territorialy-nly Gdańsk and part of Pomerania was Poland occupied by Teutons. Rest was under polish rule, annalogicly was with Samogitia and GDL.

  • @khulik the featured battle 'Saules battle' happened at the time when poles were on the crusaders side back in 1236 and they suffered severe damage from Samogitians (Lithuanians) and Semigalians (Latvians). This great victory has proudly been sung in this wonderful song where both unbeatable Lithuanians and Latvians are being mentioned twice in it.After this battle the battle of Durbe followed when again the crusaders suffered terrifying crash.

  • @Areillis

We had more battles with Teutons too, and we won the biggest ones (exept Grunwald it were: Płowce, Dąbki, Kowal and defence of Warta river.

  • @khulik running during battle? cmon they kept theire true religion until 15.century poles gave up as one of first ...lithuanians were true warriors beating crusaders from germany and latvia too(the livon order)

  • @masterofumpalumpa

Yes. Only your historicians tells, that it was "tactical retreat". But the fact is, that honour of GDL was defended by three groups from Smoleńsk, who stayed on the battlefield.

"cmon they kept theire true religion until 15.century poles gave up as one of first"-if we would give up as one of the first, we wouldn't have our country since 972. If it goes about relligion-what gave you paganism? You were 100 yrs bacwards to Poland, and what is more-you didn't have...

  • @khulik go back to hospital sir cus u r still insane

  • @PvPcleric

I'm not insane, in contrast to huge part of your nation, with you as well.

Your arguments shows, that you're just another lithuanian idiot. Go fuck yourself.

  • @khulik Did you know that you are suffering from a big dose of propaganda ? How the fuck did Lithuania survive until 15 century with paganism and you could of survived just as much but you like whores sold yourselves. You thing our historians made the tactical retreat theory ? The person to write it was a Swede writter who saw the battle and wrote about it you moron. You are living in a world of lies.Atleast we kept our ancient language and pushed back slavs like you back to Poland.

  • @DelTevynes

"Did you know that you are suffering from a big dose of propaganda ? "-is this your only argument? Typical Lithuanian.

How can I be influenced by propaganda, if I don't believe in mass-media?

"How the fuck did Lithuania survive until 15 century with paganism"-maybe because Teutons and rest of Christianity had bigger problem, than some pagans om the northeast.

"You thing our historians made the tactical retreat theory "-yes, the same with "victory against Alexander the Great".

  • @DelTevynes

"but you like whores sold yourselves"-sold yourself you can for enemy. Christianity was not our enemy, and thanks to Christianity GDL was in technology two hundreat years late in compare to Kingdom of Poland.

"You are living in a world of lies."-keep dreaming, Samogitian.

"Atleast we kept our ancient language and pushed back slavs like you back to Poland."-yeah, have a nic, wet dreams. :)

You sold yourself to Soviets and gave you beloved country without one shot. You bitches.

  • @khulik Nah, one person - president with authoritarian rights did. People fought and many of them died (partisans). Ur so tactical, I mean that bitching and stuff, nvm.

  • @Gyvenotjas

Bitching? Sorry buddy, but BFHB (bitching, falsyfying history, basketball) are your national sports, not mine.

  • @masterofumpalumpa

...borders with Germany. Mieszko, the first ruler of Poland took Christianity, because he knew, that with Christianity his country will be much safer, modern and stronger.

  • @khulik in europe

  • @masterofumpalumpa

    No, in Asia.

  • If Lithuania had united ALL Baltic tribe's instead of uniting Belorussia, We would have kicked Teutonic ass without Poland. Poles wouldnt be able to say that few Lithuanians participated in Battle of Grunwald.

  • Dekit savo tikimam pragare demonai kryziuociai !!! jus nenusipelnote garbes

  • @Thereisonlywa It doesn't surprise me Jogaila shouldn't of ever trusted the POLOCKS./LENKAI

  • what is the name of the song?

  • Sad that Baltics won against crusades :(

  • @MezupK

EIK PO VELYNIU BAILYS VOKIETIS KVAILYS

  • @chicagolugan As esu letuvis!

  • @MezupK Atsiprasau bet nesuprantu Mangaila. Kodel kalbeti pries Lietuvos ? I would think you'd be proud that the Lithuanians drove back the Teutonic order that were merely just the Pope's catjholic henchmen killing who refused to convert to Catholicism. We were the last european nation to fall under the yoke of the imperialism of the Holy Roman Empire . WE are a very proud independent people. lTEGYVOUJA LIETUVA PER AMZIUS

  • Well, during the third crusade King Richard actually had good intentions. Not to mention Saladin was a Saracen heathen who tried to conquer the Holy Land.

  • its al begann becouse litauen attack livland

  • @MegaHolligan and we atacked it becouse your ancestors were pussies and couldnt defend for themselves >_> lame.

  • Piecens cheers brother! Unite baltic brethen :)

  • Latvians and Lithuanians fought together against crusaidars!! We should unite and than we would be one of the strongest in the world :D

  • @Piecens

...and crushed by bigger Russian troop.

If you would be strong and smart, as you try to tell all of us, Russia wouldn't exist today.

After alliance one more country wanted to get in this alliance: Novogrod. They were worst foes of Moscov, and spoke to Lithuania. But Lithuania ignored them.

  • INCREDIBLE!

    Šlovingieji laikai buvo.

    Paldies, bro!

  • Lithuanians made them bleed like pigs >:D but they could have burned more villages

    :/

  • Hail Lithuania, Hail Pagan Europe.

  • @Caucainos

    Sutinku mano brolis TEGYVOUJA LIETUVA

  • @Caucainos

    Im with you on that

  • @tuskiownsall8517 so i have a question for you young warrior . If you're country suddenly converts to paganism (im not saing its possible) would you abandon God ? Answer wisely brother or sister

  • @kusys123

I don't believe in God. So yes I would.

  • @tuskiownsall8517 :] where you from brother ?

  • Lithuania is Great . . .

  • I really love this video! Pagan force!

  • What a great video, Lithuanians owned them all !!!

    Long live pagans !

  • Best looking units I've seen for Med-TW 2.

    Truly great.

  • yea!!!!! the baltics defeated the motherfucking teutonic order !!!!!

  • yeah Lithuania had no help from Poland or anyone else they did it all on their own. And I had ancestor in the Teutonic order so don't insult them like that. The Teutonic order would have crushed you had you not Christianized and made allies with Poland and many other people, the only the battle0f Grunwald was won in fact

  • well yea :) we would of been extinct but we were smart and took the word of God and the side of Traitorous Poland which betrayed us later on i hate Slavs

  • @PivotVision Not really, Lithuania expanded rapidly in it's late pagan years. While it had it's troubles on the Western front it expanded deeply and rapidly to the East and the South. Interestingly, it seem that their old religion was slowly becoming more centralized. I'd bet that if they didn't convert they probably would of stayed a Eastern European super-power longer. For more information, I'd recommend that you check out the book "Lithuania Ascending"

  • @PivotVision Sutinku man brangusis brolis tevynis . Tegyvouja viska baltiskas zmone irgi Latviu netikiu Lenkai

  • @epearl8 Battle of Grunwald was won unfortunately all Lithuania's troubles started afterwards.U don't know our history the Balts won many battles Saules,Durbes. The Balts fought crusaders 300 years without any help from others.Well,Poland took crusaders job instead.

  • @epearl8 no ... .battle of durbey and also sun ... the crusaders never conquered The Grand Duchy Of Lithuania ...

  • @epearl8

Sorry mate can't 100% agree you on that...There were times when Latvian Semigallians(Viesturs,Namejs) of Tervete fought side by side in i would say 70% of all the more or less important battles with Lithuanians.

  • Stupid crusaders! These barbarians killed half of Europe in the name of God...

  • your right the baltics Lithuania , Latvia , Estonia should of had a biger army (im lithuanian )

  • @edvinas246

    Agreed.

  • @edvinas246 the term barbarian is actually a term used by the romans for people who didnt speak the same language as them, so...dont call them barbarians lol..they were a mix of many cultures and countries under one banner of "god"

  • @edvinas246 not barbarians they where civilized man...

  • @edvinas246 So why do you still write god with capital G ?

  • @Galadharan

Probably because i believe in God... Anyway, I am Lithuanian and in our language we start this word with capital letter if we want to mention the christian God, who created this world.

  • @edvinas246

More than half. Holy Inquisition and actions on Middle East (Crusades) murdered so many ppl, that it would be more than half of these-times Europe.

  • Superb indeed! Really good camera angles and amazing work with cine-editor. :)

    Lielisks video! 5/5

  • awesome video! I'm playing the game now.

  • great!
