Musicians for the most part are self-centered assholes, is what I'm trying to say. Nationality isn't an issue, all over the world if you're holding an instrument, especialy a guitar, odds are you're trying to get everyone to look at you. Trust me, I'm a musician, mainly a guitarist at that, I've dealt with a lot of other musicians. While there are exceptions, most musicians aren't happy unless they're running the show.

I'm a musician too, a guitarist. I'm also an American who spends alot of time with people from other countries. My point was that Americans, musicians or not, tend to be more inhibited when it comes to collective causes, like in this video. Believe me I love the spotlight, but, I would occasionally like to see my fellow Americans doing more things like this. Being a "true" musician requires humility. Anyway, I'm currently putting a band together and if you're ever in San Diego give me a call.

I wish more people would be willing to step back from the spot light a little, I've been in many situations where a song or jam session was ruined because whoever involved didn't know when to stop showing off. And if I'm ever in San Diego I just may try and get a hold of you, I'm not only having trouble with bands up here but I'm also having trouble finding a steady job and am liable to leave this town when and if I really feel the need to.
