Nice review.

I have an IPEVO PoV webcam - it has the macro that the logitech doesn't. Performance is lower in lower lighting, but I never use my webcam without light (it's bad for your eyes!!). Plus, I think a $39.99 webcam's more in my budget :-p

It can be on both. The stand is flexible and you can adjust the stand to make it sit on the laptop.

good teaching. I have had my Logitech camera for several years. I have been noticing however a crackling in the sound whether I use the camera microphone or another microphone. I wonder if there is a way to solve this problem and get a clearer sound.

Very good review. As you can see by the responses, many average computer users find your help useful.
