When I was riding I was about 120lbs, the great thing about the CR500 was I could ride most of the day and never need to shift gears.....put it in 4th and leave it there. It had so much power it was like an automatic...........LOL

Of course I needed help to get it kicked over and running.

I owned a YZ465, YZ490, 1984 CR500 (air cooled), and a 1989 CR500. They were all monsters and it's hard for me to say which had the most power, but the liquid cooled CR was the most crisp and was my favorite. One thing I can tell you is that while riding a CR5000, ADD can be cured with just a small twitch of the wrist!
