Kasich's victory in a nushell: statism (driven by public emplyee unions) lost, and freedeom (driven by the ideals of Hayek, Bastiat, and Milton F.) won. So there
I was so so so so so disappointed in my state that they voted for this guy in the first place, but now I'm as equally disappointed that they now don't like him after about a year in office. Are we retarded? what is wrong with this state, can't figure out what politics you agree with? Republicans speak to the hill folk but really only care about those with money, Democrats don't know how to spend money and want to help the entire world, Which camp are you in? both camps will fuck up the economy
John Kasich's push to have Senate Bill 5 (scribbled by Shannon Jones) written into law, is a direct statement to all of Ohio's workforce- "We want it ALL". If you don't know what this bill is about, I suggest you read it. It can be found at legislature dot state dot OH dot US
Kasich was pulled over for a traffic violation on January 11th, 2008 for violating public safety, repeatedly calling the police officer who ticketed him "an idiot" even after Kasich pleaded guilty to the violation. Upon discovery of the comments, police officer and other public workers were infuriated.
During 2008, Lehman Brothers paid Kasich $587,175 in salary, bonuses, and other benefits.[48] Over $400,000 of that bonus is credited to Kasich using his political connections to facilitate investment of $480 million from the state pension fund with Lehman Brothers. That money was lost to the state.
yep... no colored people on that stage either.... good to see John Kasich's still got his fox news habits going.... watch him make ohio just a LOVELY place to live...... if you're white :)_
@oehieze i doubt that.. you mean if you rich white and republican.. not all whites are rich or republican.. and i don't see him bringing back segregation.. so what if he doesn't hire non-whites.. i'm sure he doesn't hire democratic whites from poverty either..
@HomicidalEntity really? in a state of what 15 million? in a country of over 300million people.. he really really could only find WHITE MEN that were qualified? there were no women, jews, blacks, asians, indians? anything differernt? and you don't see this whitewashing as a return to "business as usual?" a.k.a the new racism.. not direct but we'll use the "hey man, these were the only qualified people I could find" line.. BULLSHIT! The man is a complete racist
@oehieze Don't go on a rant about racism and white washing to me.. i never said this republican dick wasn't a racist.. anyone that has ever watched fox news knows republicans are racists.. i'm simply saying that lower class white people are just as discriminated against by republicans as non whites.. FACT.
@thechangeling613 OK that makes no sense.. why in an election with two white guys would southern Ohio racists vote republican? Unless you mean they were voting republicans into office to vote against Obama.. you say that i have much to learn but you seem to think every white person is raised to look at skin color as a way to determine who they should vote into office.. I am a white democrat because i agree with their policies.. people with money can relate more to republican policies..
@thechangeling613 if you wanna blame anyone for kasich being in office blame the large urban areas of diverse racial backgrounds you spoke of.. not because they vote republican or anything but because they refuse to vote at all.. don't get me wrong they came threw in the big presidential election.. but they were absent in these elections.. these urban people you speak of think R and D are the same not knowing the republicans are looking to eliminate the welfare system that supports them..
the dems have used that song at the beginning forever..... stolen the song as well as our state. I'm leaving Ohio, in two year, I may leave this country. I'm sick of this shit.
@1obamahater your comment makes you sound like the idiot. vote for who you want, but get your facts straight. the term ends in january 2013, not 2012. and his name is Barack Obama, not Obama Bin Laden.

@chuhboemember6 You do realize that John Kasich and Bono are close personal friends? I am sure that Bono himself can choose who uses his music.

@cthenson1 I didn't know that! Just thought it was a little weird that he used a same song Obama and Kerry used but now that makes sense
