I've always enjoyed having my lady at the range with me, even more so when she likes the gun of the day. The only downside is that it ends your get away downtime at the range, but it's worth it to me.
@1AbominAble1 Very much appreciated! This was her first time firing a rifle of any sort. She wants some low profile ear-pro so she can get a better cheek weld. Range trips are going to wind up being a lot more expensive! :-)
@fjkhoury01 I used the high heat grill paint. It works okay, but gun cleaning solvents like Hoppes #9 can take it right off. That's kind of tricky since every now and then I use solvents to do a really good cleaning.
wow, I subscribe to a variety of videos in diverse sub cultures, and for a moment I thought the wonderful sounds of thievery corporation were emanating from another tab. I was pleasantly surprised to find it find it was coming from this video. nice choice

Thanks! It's RIT dye camo. I took the Flat Dark Earth Magpul stuff and the FDE Ergo stock and dyed them using the RIT dye. For the mag I taped off sections, then dipped in green, taped off more sections, then dipped in brown. I just wanted something different than the same old colors everyone else in the world already has.
