Shou Kurusu is his name and Syo is actually his nickname. In many notable sources like the game pages, official game trailers, and even AnimeList they call him Shou. In the Anime it hints at Syo not really being his name, as well. Especially when he is only really called Syo when using the honorific "-chan" which is friendly.
