  • that guys got pink underwear?

  • what kinda speed you gettin with that bigga boat? im lookin to buy a good all purpose setup (duck huntin, bowfishin/giggin) and i think it would be awesome to ski and stuff behind one too

  • @retrodan92 Well stock I was running 28 with myself, 24-25 with a hunting load 3 guys all around 200 + decoys. I have since modded my motor and am now running 33 with just me & 30 with a full load. My boat has flotation in it & is an 1860. It's very fast now.

  • @fishwestend that would be perfect! my last question is, is it really worth the extra money to get a mud motor over a regular outboard? i know they are awesome but as far as upkeep and servicing it...and here in florida there arent many places that will work on one

  • @retrodan92 I don't have any problems with mine. They are very simple to fix & service. Join up on MudMotorTalk(dot)com thick skin required... If your running mud there's nothing better if your running hard sand get an outboard & tunnel or jet drive. Really these motors are great getting across shallow flats of mud & over veggies. Your not going to win any speed awards with a mud motor.

  • @fishwestend well we dont have the mud over here like yall do...the only real plus to a mud motor here would be on hydrilla and lillys and such...im thinkin a little 25 horse merc with a jet drive on it might do me fine but it aint near as cool lol

  • nice vid

  • get some exhaust on that shit

  • @TheSwampkajun I have one, MarshMellow motor is far from stock now lol

  • get some exhaust on that shit

  • i got runners on mine because when i go to make a turn in the open water it slides really really bad. and in the mud mine slides right into the bank, but i guess it depends on the mud like you said. what size boat u have?

  • @ppcoonass you just need to let off the throttle, allow the stern to sink slightly then start your turn at 3/4 throttle... If I take a turn WOT I'll slide right into the bank too. Also when going through mud no need to fly, just enough momentum to keep me going forward and maintain control over the rig. I run an 1860 with a hunt deck, boat is made by Gator-Tail. Try trimming your motor down further this will allow you to turn your boat better when in mud.

  • get runners on your boat, it wont slide as bad

  • @ppcoonass HELL NO! Slide is good!!! Just have to know how to slide. If I had runners I would be stuck in mud, this is SETX mud not soupy Louisiana stuff, we have shell, sand hard mud all mixed in.

  • can an outboard do this...NO!

  • That is just #$%@ing amazing.........

  • Can your outboard do this? yes

  • @SensationalSnow Yeah right bro 3" deep, straight mud in most areas your water pump would be fried then you'd be calling me to come pick your dumbarse up! A jet drive can not hang with these motors!

  • check out go devil surface drives those are badass

  • @bigmuddybronco too bad they don't offer reverse... What are you going to do when you stop? Get out in waist deep mud and push it backwards?? Good luck with a go-devil unfortunately they can not hang with with the GTR

  • @fishwestend Actually gator tails do have reverse. Its called the GTR hence they added R because it have Reverse.

  • @bighunt986 Yah I know it's my rig, I was talking to the guy talking about a gdsd

  • @fishwestend O ok haha misunderstanding.

  • they need to make an alaskan gator tail...

  • that is bad ass

  • i was like DUMBASS then he got out of it so i punched myself in the face

  • thats awesome!!!!
