Organized.. that is something i am NOT. But sometimes i imagine my EVIL clients drawn in my endless stack of planes and papers. they yelp, beg for mercy, but i just watch and laugh O_O
i have the last 1 !!! crazy !!!! all architecture students or those get involves will sacrifice all their time on the projects.... =D this is where we all are unique and different from others =D
@Loocifur lol my little rant of the day its ok i like it but it just sometimes kills me i know i can do it but its really hard to get into a community that is half douche bags half good people
I ask this to Doug or anyone out there; what is the ratio of science to art involved in architecture... I ask because architecture requires pure and applied science studies at the pre-university level which baffles me when taking into consideration the inherent nature of architecture. Sure the creativity comes from within but I'm wondering where the art education comes in...namely to put together a portfolio which will adequately display ones abilities.
Pretentious, self-agrandizing, egotistical, sociopathic, greedy, pompous, demeaning, maniacal, ignorant, drama-queen-esque, prone to bouts of pouting, whining about everything from being the only one to ever know anything about everything to not charging enough to cover the grief of suffering something as heinous as (God forbid) a client...who pays your salary, if you can call that overinflated compensation for substandard work "salary". @lilaminakari You also sound like a pretentious faggot. You'll fit right in with the other 80% who think they are engineers before they set pen to paper.
I liked this video. My only complaint is only half these characteristics are architect specific. For example hardworking- that can apply to virtually any job out there. I don't know any job where being attentive is a bad thing. I'm not sure if i made sense but otherwise keep these videos going ,there very interesting.
@thingthing10 I wouldn't say any of these characteristics are necessarily specific to Architecture, they're all useful for many different things in life. Maybe the point is that to be a great Architect you have to have a wide range of qualities working together.
Wow you can ride a unicycle too. I'm not the only unusual one that can't just ride a bike like everyone else.
