  • The king of blues!!!! This Man is INCREDIBLE....

  • Buddy is a giant. I remember how excited I was when this CD arrived in the mail. This track just took me to such an insane level after that.

  • well done Buddy ! God bless you !

  • First time I heard the song. Really good like most of his music. I miss the BB King blues festival that used to come through Austin. I got to see the best of the best before father time came a knockin. At one of them John Lee Hooker was scheduled to play with BB and Buddy. Just before the show they announced he had fallen ill and wouldn't appear. Anyone who keeps track of the blues knows what happened next.

  • 279 people know how to get better with age :)

  • Is the sentence '' drinking wine with kings'' a reference to BB King?

  • Buddy is truly one of the greatest bluesman that has ever been or most likely will ever be... This man is pure class and a true gentleman...

  • 2 people are fucking idiots.

  • Two people just threw away their guitars...

  • two people are 74 years old

  • I know music or any type of art is supposed to be subjective in taste but, you're a complete dickhole if you don't get how great Buddy Guy is.

  • Just amazing. Looking forward to being 74....

  • omg that solo...

  • @ChrisbrutalMalta

umm, yea . . . screw Paul Gilbert; the blues is where it's at. Buddy, B.B, Lonnie Johnson, Reverend Gary Davis, Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Mick Taylor, Freddie Robinson, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn . . . blind willie mctell, Robert Johnson, Son House . . . and oh yes, don't forget Churck Berry(underrated!); the blues is definitellty where it's at!

  • he is still my Buddy, playin like a tom cat and kewl as a ice cube.

  • he is still my Buddy, playin like a tom cat and kewl as a ice cube.

  • 74 years young

  • God Bless Buddy

  • Ha, he'd be the coolest grandfather ever

  • Yes ,You're right, the solo is amazing, no words..

But since I hear the first note, His music bring me in an hurricane, I couldn't do nothing than smile..

.. buddy "motherfucking" Guy, YOU are the best Man! :)

  • This solo made me Jizz my pants and I am 74 years young. lol

  • holy hell solo o.o

  • 74 and so much more!! Just saw him in Buffalo last night and he played this song :D

  • i just bought this record down in memphis

  • Buddy Guy has been called the bridge between the blues and rock and roll. He is one of the historic links between Chicago electric blues pioneers Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf and popular musicians like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page as well as later revivalists like Stevie Ray Vaughan. Vaughan stated that, "Without Buddy Guy, there would be no Stevie Ray Vaughan."

  • I first saw Buddy at the Checkerboard circa 1980. I last saw Buddy twice during his latest run at Legends 2011. He was amazing then- he's even better now.

  • This isn't IMO the best buddy guy guitar solo, but this song is the opening track on this album for a reason. Buddy Still has it, at 74 years young.

  • How old is he again?

  • I love him ! ! !

  • This guy really knows how to do a TRUELY awesome guitar solo.

Not everyone can do that when there 74 years young! :)

  • I'm seriously not scared to grow up anymore. =D

  • @Trevguy00 who says you have to grow up man? you just gotta grow old :P

  • @Trevguy00 me too.... these guys make me so happy to be a guitar player...

  • FUCKING AWESOME SOLO!!!!!!! My God I´m Shocked!!!!

  • Buggy Guy? More like Buddy God! I love his music. The Blues is such a lyrically deep genre both in the vocals and in the instruments. Musicians like Buddy Guy can express every word in the alphabet with just a guitar.

While in the Medieval ages, kings would lay in their death beds with a sword in their hands. Buddy Guy has drank with kings, so he will lay with a guitar in his hands :D

Anyway, that's my comment on my Buddy!

  • Congrats on the grammy ...YOUNG FRESH

  • wow, this guy is seriously epic! 8D

  • 1:30 gives me some serious chills, what a solo what a song, a true inspiration here

  • A couple of minutes of classic blues & suddenly an explosion of Buddy at his very best. Legend is bounced around a lot these days but this man can be very proud to stand amongst the greatest of all time. I saw him in Manchester UK a couple of months back & he's a good as ever & it was a privilege to see him in my country.
