Not sure if you are using VDJ or Itch. I had this problem with VDJ, but only on my home PC. Running two 1 gig video cards, and had settings on VDJ to work off of Video card settings. Took about two days of adjustment, but works great now. If it's Itch.. sorry man.. good luck.,
Me and a buddy picked up one of the first units, we have only had one problem, you have to be very rigid with the left deck's pitch bend, other than that, it's been a very good unit to us. Considering the price tag, I love this thing.
Hi. I had problem with power. When I used NS7 first time, there were no problem on power button and it started up perfectly. But, when I turned it off, I wasn't able to start it again for about 20 minutes. And the same thing was repeating after 3 hours of playing, when I turnd It off. But this time the NS7 didn't start up even after 20 minutes and I had to take it to service. I hope, that there is problem only with power button.
I have an NS-7. No problems out of the box.. been doing heavy gigs couple times a week, a lot of travel.. Every feature is running perfect... So I guess you guys are having bad luck

bought a ns7 got it home..no accesories box..no usb cable no software....took it back to guitar center and 2 days later got a 2nd new one. got it home and damn the accessories box was missing again. i was so excited to get this thing but now im kinda burnt...might sell it and stick to my ttm57sl. fellas and gals if you plan on buying a ns7 please check the contents of the box before leaving the store. trust me! no software or drivers no big deal..but no usb cable twice over!!!....not good!
Same thing happened to me. Thought i was going crazy when I couldn't find the USB and whatnot. Had my dad's store call up Numark and they sent out an accessory box. Sucks you had to actually send your whole NS7 back. I'm guessing that after they had that big recall when the NS7 first came out, there was a shipment of the repaired ones that some idiot forgot to put the accessories in.

Oh , and to add more clarification , I am one of those wedding/special occasion dj's , and numark isn;'t reliable enough for those types of gigs either , though I do do alot of sampling/mixing , even at weddings . I love doing my own mix at a function , and having someone ask what song that is , and I tell them its 3 and let them listen in the headphones for a bit
I have to agree with djgregrrr . I have the cdn 88 and 2 axis 9's , and though I love the units and features , the quality and reliability is NOT there . I stopped using all numark gear altogether , when I had problems with an axis 9 , and they couldn't offer me any support , or even a wiring diagram , as it seam no 10 of them were put together the same . My cdn 88 has been through 4 lasers in is 4 years of use - 2 per side . Good luck fighting with numark . I've switched to PIONEER
Well i have had the ns7 for 1 month everything is ok its just that the cpu on itch is always full might be my computer..... But if my ns7 has deffects ill just return it.

The serato itch forum is basically for itch problems. This is obviously a hardware defect. What I hate it that I just spent good money on this and I can't even get them to fix it!

this is what you can expect from a numark product at any level, I myself have purchased numurous amounts of Numark gear in the hopes that it would work, but never the case, fortunately my dealers always take the gear back and I buy premium like Allen & Heath, Vestax etc. I have tried to speak with Numark to no avail, it seems as though Numark gear is made for entry-level to wedding/special occasion dj's not world class jet-set hard or extreme mixers that require flawless performance at every gig

im having problems with mine also...
my right volume control on my mixer goes out sometimes and the music doesnt play when i fade it in. so it fucks me up at my gigs sometimes!
im considering on sending this shit back as soon as my manufactur warranty is over so i can get a brand new one. and then selling that shit.
that way i can get technics and run sl4. cuz this shit is ridiculous.
i love the system but so much bullshit to deal with. it spazzes out sometimes also...

Yup I am on a MacBook pro unibody. The problem isn't with the computer as you can see the number 2 hotcue just doesn't work as it should.
Turn up your speakers, you can hear the actual button click.
