No matter Sampson is gay or not, he is just expressing his extreme fondness for Maxwell as a singer and as a person. You don't have to agree to the extreme of condoning his sexual orientation which ultimately led to his lifestyle choice. Those comments that were coming from a so-call Christian woman were TERRIBLE and HURTFULL. No wonder gay people feel uncomfortable trying to seek Salvation and the Word of the Lord!
