My favorite song on the LOVE album is Back in the U.S.S.R. I like the White Album version too, but LOVE has a lot more bass to it and it got a cleaner ending. On the White Album it's got a crappy transition into Dear Prudence. (I love that song too)
I'm not truely into LOVE, but I do find it interesting to look into the songs that were used.
I could never figure out, in "Glass Onion," which song it was that chain of triplet chords are after "HELLO, HELLO!" If anyone knows what that is, could you please tell me?
I´m young and Yellow submarine and the Love Album was the first Beatles album i ever had. After i heard them , i wanted to buy more of their albums and now i got Blue , Red Album , Sgt. Peppers and some more :) The Love Album definitly helped me to discover what a great Band the Beatles Was.
actually The Beatles did kind of the same thing back in the 1960s, for example, in "Glass onion" they talk about the walrus and strawberry fields, fixing a hole, etc...in "All you need is love" at the end, John start singing.."she loves you yea yea yea"...so my point is that "Love" mixed Beatles songs, without destroying The Beatle essence...
i think "Love" is a great album...its like a diffrent way of hearing Beatles music, but still great...i like how they connected the songs...specially Tomorrow never knows--Within you without you--Lucy in the sky with diamonds, it just sounds bloody great...
A lot of people've posted some pretty negative things about "Love", but I've found it to be immensely litenable, especially stuff like "Within You Without You". I like the video a lot too. What are those shades at 2:30? They're pretty cool whatever they are.
I'm sorry you feel that way, but I made this video for people to enjoy if you don't like it go watch something else and don't try to tell people what you "Think" John would say, you don't know.
whengeorge was alive he did a radio show interview to promote cloud9 and he was asked what he thought about remaking beatles songs, and he said it was a dumb suggestion to even think about touching the beatles songs,no reason to redo them they are fine on their own,i think john would agree with george
That's your opinion and you're welcome to it, but if you've got negative comments take them somewhere else. This is for people who actually like the LOVE album.
yeah true thats what ringo said, and the love cd is making lots of young kids fans of the beatles music, maybe they will want to hear the originals after listening to the love cd,or buy more beatles cds

i hate the new album love. i think it's dumb to mix classic songs with others i think it destroys the songs.i think john would agree too.

Cool mash up video to go along with the song. I like the start of the video, it would have been cool to see more mash up clips in the vid!
