I really like the color of that Escape. Mine's the 2001 Ford Escape XLS and it's white. I'm not a big fan of a white car, but I got it for a steal!

I really like these Escapes, liked them so much, I bought one. Haha, it's strange the only minor differences between the XLT, and the Limited though, mine, for example has everything that one does with the exception of heated seats, and and back-up sensors... I would appreciate them, but in reality, I hardly see the point of the Limited prior to ~2007. Still great car no matter which you choose. And my 4x4 is great off road. :D Love your reviews! Keep them coming!

I had a 2003 ford escape xlt and I just totaled it in a crash. It was a great truck and I dearly miss it. It's all plastic and the buttons always came out though

My brother had 2002 Ford Escape that had 289,000+ miles on it. Its really good SUV, we drove in everywhere and it never die.

I have an '03 4X4 with almost 169,000 miles, and it's still going strong. Yeah, as one poster said, Limited but no 4X4. My Escape is the exact same as this, leather and moon roof, but is referred to as the "Sport" edition. Ford, for whatever reason, didn't badge these on the exterior with 4X4, V6 or Sport. If you look at 4:31, the blank area to the left of the A/C controls is where the 4X4 knob would be. Nice to have if your bogged down in S. FL. muck or sugar sand. Great on or off road vehicle.

The worst ignition buzzers are HONDA'S. Its like a damn alarm clock thats ear piercing.

That thing looks so damn close to my moms car...except hers is the kin to this (Mazda Tribute) but darn near the same color, engine, interior...except hers has tan leather, a tan underside, and only 88K miles on it (keep in mind it's a 2001)
