Although Phil had said he decided even back when he released his initial death face vid that game playthroughs were getting stale and that he wanted to try something different...he DID say that "Deathface" was making him play this "overrated" and "personally disliked" game from his past, thus making it seem like it may still be a playthrough...so I kind of think that the original idea he had back in 2010 is not going to the core of this new web series.

I remember Phils early stuff reminded me so much of 'The Angry Videogame Nerd', Phil even referenced him in a lot of his early vids. Now this Project 7 thing seems to be again doing something like TAVGN does which is cool if Phil wants to do it but i just hope Phil realises that the vast majority of his viewers want to see him doing videogame playthroughs and don't really care about this other stuff.

The creatures are trying to 'branch out' and they are getting alot of backlash of fans.

@mastes1 Yeah that's pretty much what I thought. Apart from that, Phil mentioned that the stuff that happens with him, john and howard is always hilarious. I agree on that, but I believe that most of their comedy was unintentional and situational.

Actually writing comedy and being intentionally funny is a complete different thing, even more so with a group of people.

We'll see how this turns out and I wish Phil all the best but this has massive potential for failing.
