These video's are very helpful, and you're really genorous for offering this information free of charge. My only question is, how do you account for a person that went through the same things as someone that eventually developed SAD did, yet didn't develop SAD themselves?
In what way are those two people different? Why did one person develop and the other not? I suppose it could just come down to 'everyone is different' ..I dont know if i see that answer as a cop out or not though.
@Jaikay1 : Glad they're helping you. I'm not sure of the answer. There is a lot of research being done, and I have my own theories based upon what I've read, my personal experience with SAD and insights from coaching, but the truth is that we simply don't know yet. And so I rather advice you to focus on the solution, as that will be more helpful :-)
@S0C1ALxINSUB0RDINATE : Hi :-) Song is made by my graphic artist. Has no name. Flowchart isn't to be found anywhere yet, thinking of incorporating it in my website once I have some time. Keep an eye out :-)
Sometimes I do my very best to not get humiliated and embarrassed but it often happens, for instance, when I walk to school, it just occurs to me that I should perfect even the way I walk and when a group of kids pass by, I get so nervous that I stumble. They would look at me weirdly and laugh (so shameful). Also, I did believed that I am a tough case and hopeless but I believe in your method and I choose to believe there is hope for me. Thank you so much
@lexj99 : Perfectionism is rampant in SAD. It usually comes from a feeling of I'm not good enough, which usually is a belief developed in childhood, and reinforced in puberty and via media programming us to have to be perfect. Which is of course nonsense. There is indeed hope for you Lex, take action with the information you have now. All the best, Sebastiaan
I have been dealing with S.A.D for a very, very long time its so severe that I cant get a job, I don't go out with friends, I don't date. I'm severely depressed and I haven't the slightest clue what to do, I have the desire to be rid of it. It's just so hard. I'm sick of it
@GODZILLAMANASS : It is hard indeed. And while it might not help your situation directly; you're not alone. Many people are dealing with the same challenges. Just know that there are solutions out there now. It's up to you to decide to do something :-)
