Well, it was a dead beetle that we decided to look under the microscope with, WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS! It had it's baby larva eating it's dead body! That's what you see moving...

Wow, yikes! I suppose the babies have to get their nutrients somehow... that's gross but fasinating all at once
